As always food was tasty. Only complaint on this occasion was that the 2 breakfasts ordered were delivered individually…. When eating with friends I want their food at the same time as mine rather than potentially having my food cooled whilst waiting on theirs. Quieter on this occasion but still a good atmosphere

We waited a long time before anyone came and took our order and then waited a long time for our food to come. We didn’t get our drinks until after we had finished our food. We had to ask twice for our drinks. Service was very slow and staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Food was delicious but service was so slow I would think twice about going back

Always a nice experience dining at the Little Bakery. The staff and service are amazing, very attentive and friendly while the food is delicious. The cakes and selection of sweet treats are a sight to behold and even better to enjoy. Highly recommend this place whether you are simply in need of a coffee and a cake or a delicious breakfast or lunch. You won’t regret it.

Me and my gran visited for afternoon tea. We had a voucher to use. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented and the food was even better. The young man that served us was so welcoming. Couldn’t do more for us and a credit to the bakery! Can’t wait to go back! Cakes are the best I’ve had!

Mothers day Afternoon Tea. Greeted by rude staff at the front desk, sat at Table and was not made aware of the drinks that were included in the Afternoon Tea (I heard this from other waiters who were seating other tables). Sat at a table for 2 but there was 3 adults and 1 high chair (no room to even lift our drinks). Told that the people that were booked in next were waiting so can we please leave. Not the way I thought I would have been treated paying £70.00 for 3 afternoon teas!

Staff was friendly and attentive but only to the point of placing an order. After that you are non existing customer, with plates piling up and no one to get them taken away to make space for cakes. We had to go 4 times to the counter to speak to someone to get cakes ordered and getting bill. Even then they forgotten that we wanted to pay. Meeh

I had the chicken burger with fries and homemade coleslaw. It was delicious! The service was quick even though all the tables were full and the lady who took our order was so lovely.

Dined here with a friend. Had a great lunch. We both had brushetta but with different toppings. I have had similar dish elsewhere but not as tasty as at The Little Bakery.

This is a lovely place to enjoy afternoon tea. The staff are down to earth, friendly and approachable. The afternoon tea was enjoyable with savoury options and lots of sweet things. I was a little surprised we couldn't substitute the tea option for coffee, as all other establishments allow this, but wouldn't let it stop us from visiting again. One of the savoury options was a macaroni tart, which is a nice quirky idea. However, the sweet pastry didn't go with the cheese. The only other thing we would change was the temperature - we were sitting at the window for almost 2 hours, and by the time we left, we were freezing! The sweet treats and scones were delicious and plentiful - too much to eat in one sitting but we were kindly offered take away boxes to take these home. Overall we really enjoyed it. It was competitively priced and would recommend.

This was a lovley wee cafe. My boss and I met for a meeting as this was central to us both. Our first time being here and it was bigger than we thought. Staff were friendly and helpful and quick to clear tables, especially as we were working and had laptops out, this was very helpful. Although we booked the table and didn't realise it was only for 1 hour 15 minutes? We were not reushed out after this time, in fac we were there about 2 hours in the end.

Massively overpriced to say the least! Food was ok, cakes very dry. Some staff seemed nice, but some were actually very rude, in particular the manager/owner. Was standing at the till waiting to order and pay, 4 members of staff walked past me and never said a word, instead pretended I wasn’t there. Don’t know what the fuss is about this place, well below an average cafe.

The team at little Bakery are fantastic. When we visited the place was really busy with a big queue at the till and the door. Despite this the team were smiling and friendly. Plus our food and drinks were served really quickly. What a fantastic meal we had. Well done to all that work there, you were all doing a fantastic job. My coffee was superb and all food was delightful. Thanks.

Disappointing, was a booking for lunch for a birthday and didn’t find the staff very friendly. Half the food was brought out 10 minutes earlier than the rest, portions were very small and the cost of the coffees is utterly ridiculous for the size of the mug. Pretty little place with good selection but a disappointingly expensive lunch.

Food as always was very tasty…. If hot food was served on warm/hot plates the food would retain the heat a little longer. I found the temperature throughout the restaurant to be a bit cold, despite it not being particularly cold outside. Lovely staff, all polite and attentive. Delicious breakfast with a good variety

Sadly our once loved pit stop in Sqf seems to have declined - hate to say it but it’s more like a greasy spoon than the gorgeous wee bakery it once was. Cake selection was poor / menu seems to cater for breakfast rolls rather than the quirky different lunch options we have had in the past . The manager was blunt and unfriendly, the rest of the staff seemed pleasant enough though . Ambience and decor very tatty - sorry but it was a very disappointing visit and it’s wasn’t overly busy such as shame as it was always so lovely .

We required gluten free options and were able to choose fillings to have on GF toast. Not much else was GF, particularly in the cake and pastry section. Soup good and just what was needed given the outside temperature yesterday.

Afternoon tea looked great at first then was a disappointment on flavour and quality ingredients. The scones were one bites , extremely small . The bread on the ham and cheese, so so dry. The salmon had a short brown hair in it, not just ontop. Definitely a place for coffee, not afternoon tea. The staff were friendly but very casual and un attentive. No offer for more coffee or tea and such. I booked for my husbands Birthday, it would have been nice if they had personalised the table or mentioned the Birthday. I did mention the Birthday at booking. Just disappointed. This place was so hyped by friends and family, our trip just didn't meet expectations.

Really poor and would not be back. Have been here a few times and I always enjoy it yesterday was horrible. The same stuff on the afternoon tea and the portions get smaller and smaller. Cancelled my future bookings and wont be back.

I have been to The Little Bakery a few times but this was definitely the worst visit for us. The portion size & standard of food was poor, got forgotten about a few times, with requests being repeated to several staff members and still not getting what we needed. The bakery was extremely quiet with only three other tables in, so not overly noisy. Disappointingly there wasn’t much choice for a cake to takeaway either - which was a huge shame as normally there’s a wonderful selection!

This was recommended to us when we were looking for somewhere in the South Queensferry area and it was perfect for our needs, a family meet up while we were ships that passed! We had a dog with us too and he was warmly welcomed. It was busy and service was slowish but it was fine for our requirements. Everything looked and tasted so yummy we struggled to only choose one thing each and we will certainly return if we are in the area again.
