At The Library, the familiar aroma of coffee, the promise of a delicious meal, and the anticipation of friendly buzz will offer a reprieve from the daily chaos. It is where the community as a whole comes to refill their cup, both proverbially and, often, quite literally. You will find dining options both inside and outside, as well as at the bar. For walk-up service, our pastry counter offers coffee, tea and pastries throughout the day. We look forward to serving the community, visitors, and hospital staff alike.

Having looked forward to trying The Library for some time, I chose to treat a friend to a birthday lunch. The ambiance was wonderful. Bright, open and welcoming. Our server, however, was none of these. She seemed a bit put off that my friend wasn't ready to order, when she approached the table. (My guest had just been seated a few minutes before, and hadn't had a chance to look at the menu yet.) The menu offerings looked great, and by second request to order, we were ready. I ordered the steak sandwich,which was really good. My guest ordered the Chicken Paillard, with dressing on the side. Just the interaction with my guest, while ordering, would be very obvious that my guest was watching her diet. She was served the salad with a side of fries (not on the menu). It was quite surprising that a healthy meal (arugala salad dish) would come with a side of fries. The poor server that actually served the meal didn't know what to say or do when a substitution was requested. Our original, sub-par, server came back to the table, fries in hand, and said that any substitution for the fries would have a $3 up charge. No big deal, but a bit tacky, seeing that fries or an up-charge was never mentioned during the ordering process. My guest decided that the side was not needed, and went on to enjoy her salad. From this point on, the server was short with us, to the point of rudeness. We were never offered dessert, just the check, and felt like we were unwelcome. I have no idea why she was so rude to us. I had made a reservation, and was very clear that this was a special birthday lunch. Despite having a good friend join me for her birthday lunch, the choice to dine at The Library was an obvious mistake. Our servers name was Sarah B. When I re-visit this restaurant, and I will (good food), I will make sure Sarah B. is not my server. As the old saying goes... "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." (And get rid of the side of fries!)

Amazing!! The food! The service!! The atmosphere!! We loved every single thing we had. The bread and butter board is insane and the peach and burrata salad is so delicious. We finished off with steak and it was cooked to perfection. The roasted garlic and crispy onions were a great touch. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back!

The food was as always-just wonderful. The mixed drinks are terrible if you don’t order one of their special drinks. Nice by the glass wine selection. The truffle fries are worth the trip.

We came here for my friend's birthday for brunch and it was our first time. It was great! Love the ambience of it and the food and drinks were amazing!

Get the Brussels sprouts, the bread, and the NY strip and you’ll leave a happy person. Great ambiance for date night.
