Looking for a unique place to dine! Come enjoy the haunted historic Lemp Mansion. We offer a variety of dishes, from Beef Wellington to Eggplant Parmesan. Make sure to save room for a delicious Bananas Foster or Cherries Jubilee, our flaming desserts prepared table-side. On Sundays, we serve Family-Style Chicken Dinner, all you care to eat!
After lunch or dinner take a wander around the main floor. There are many beautiful aspects to see, from the hand painted ceiling in the Parlor to the original vault doors leading into our museum & gift shop. The Lemp mansion was originally the home of the biggest beer barons of their time.

The food was average. What is unacceptable is that they raised the price by almost 70% because it was Mother's Day. The food was exactly the same as their normal Sunday offering, but they took the opportunity to gouge their customers.

Dinner was listed on website @ $28 per person. We went on mother's day. Website said pricing may vary on special occasions (no definition). Upon arrival, there was nothing to indicate the price was any different from the website. When we finished eating and we received the bill it came at $46 per person. There should be a sign upon entry stating the adjusted price. Also, the meal was apparently not any different than they serve every Sunday. Apparently, they use "surge" pricing without telling anyone. I would recommend the meal but would encourage future diners to ask the cost of the meal before making a reservation.

Chicken was dry...leftover from lunch? Definitely not as good as first visit, a few months ago. Group was disappointed. Side items were all good and hot. We were a party of 8, tip added to bill as was a tax on the tip. Surprised to see. Also charged a fee for using a credit card. Bill was $74 for 2 meals. Water for drinks.

We went on Sunday, not realizing the only menu item available is the fried chicken dinner served family style. I had planned to eat a relatively light lunch and hope for a ghost to whisper in my ear; my main reason to go to the Lemp Mansion. We each had a lovely Bloody Mary and the chicken dinner is exactly what they promised. Soooo much delicious family food just like you should enjoy on a Sunday for all the feels. The fried chicken is absolutely delicious and my favorite side is always mashed potatoes and gravy, which did not disappoint. Roast beef, glazed ham, buttery corn, Mac and cheese, green beans with pork…and more. I did manage to pace myself and we shared the peanut butter banana chocolate cream pie. The bill was very fair and the experience very nice. If a ghost whispered in my ear I was too chatty and full of food excitement that I didn’t notice. Maybe next time!

Got seated as we entered and sat next to a family celebrating a small child’s birthday. Needless to say it was a little loud and a little rowdy from that table, but that’s what we get for booking an early evening reservation. Our food was very good and was a good value. We had the Lemp burger and the fried cod sandwich. We asked the staff a few questions about the mansion and they were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in their answer.

Came with a party of 8 for my birthday, and had a reservation. On the phone I was it told it would be $26.95 per person but once seated our server let us know the price was $45.00 per person because of the holiday. I work in service so I understand these things happen but for the atmosphere, quality, and not being allowed to take food home, I would have chosen some place else at that price. I think the atmosphere upstairs was great but we had a wheelchair so they put us in the basement which just didn’t have the mansion ambience. (our server did allow us to take a little food since it was toward the end of the day but we got some passive aggressive vibes when we asked for it). Chicken breading was a bit over salted.

We had a fantastic experience here. We had a fairly large group, and the service and food were excellent. We are now going to make this our yearly last night of our trip stop.

Good food, great atmosphere but not the best service and unscrupulous billing. We were a table of 6 and I felt our waiter was not as attentive to our table as he was with others. I heard him telling stories of haunting to other tables, while he barely spoke an extra word to us. I didn’t like the unexplained 4% service fee ( maybe for using a credit card?) and automatic 20% gratuity which was calculated off the food plus the service fee. The gratuity and service were also taxed. 4 stars if that cut that no sense out.

What a fabulous dining experience! We love the Lemp’s Sunday lunch. All you can eat, family-style. The fried chicken is the best around and the mashed potatoes and gravy are amazing! Every time we visit St. Louis, the Lemp is on our must-go list!!

Such a unique experience! We had so much fun seeing this St Louis landmark. Our server was informed about the mansion, had all the answers to our questions. Really good service and everyone was very friendly. Sunday fried chicken dinner was spectacular. Even our picky eater was happy.

We have been to the Lemp Mansion for a couple of meals. Both times, the service has been absolutely wonderful. The food-fantastic! And, of course, you can’t beat the beautiful setting.

The Sunday chicken family style dinner is the best. Super bowl Sunday was not busy at all, so we were able to get refills quickly. Fried chicken is very good here. Biscuits are one of my favorites. Attentive and friendly staff. We will be back!!

Our waiter Anthony was attentive, thorough, made great selections,& even shared some experiences he'd had at the mansion. The food was excellent, & the mansion was fun to explore. I would recommend for a date, families (all you can brunch on Sundays), or a friend get together.
