At the Lake House, we’re short on formalities and big on making you feel comfortable. Stop by for an easy lunch on the deck with blue skies and a cool breeze. Linger over a romantic dinner and drinks in the warm glow of our fireplace. Enjoy the view of a snow-covered lake. Whether you’re with your boss or your best friend, you’re going to have a wonderful time, every time, at the Lake House. Around here, people love the water. When you take a look at the Lake House, this becomes abundantly clear (our location on the marina is no accident). Naturally, we have gorgeous views of the lake. And when the weather is good and enticing, we have an ample bar and deck outside where you can enjoy the breeze - and shoot the breeze with an al fresco lunch or dinner. We’ve even built this attitude into our bar: while it starts out inside, it ends up outside closer to the water. Come see for yourself.

If it weren`t for the prices, we would eat here more often. A $17 plain hamburger with chips is a bit ridiculous and if you want cheese, bacon and fries you add $8 to the price. That's just one example. The location and staff are always great!

First off, your Open Table app offered an option of; 1) al la carte menu or, 2) buffet. I registered for al la carte menu as I never eat buffets and would never pay $45 to eat ANY buffet! When we arrived, only a buffet was offered. I explained this to our waitress Heidi. She checked and said only a buffet was offered on Mother's Day. So we really had no choice at 3pm on Mother's Day so we told them we would try the buffet. The buffet food was buffet food; not hot, not fresh and not much taste. We each ate a plate of food and desserts. Even my carrot cake was dry! When we got the outrageous bill for $200 I asked for manager who came over. I didn't catch her name but she was not very friendly. I explained the situation and she basically nodded her head. I proceeded to tell her that I was not paying $200 for what we received and so she'd better discount the check. She stated she would try and did take one of the buffets off the bill so our damage came to $152. Still outrageously overpriced but I needed to pay and leave this restaurant for the last time. Will I recommend this to others; ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! The meal was worth about $75 or so. I may dispute charge with Visa; not sure yet.

Food was great as usual. Only negative was slow ‘used’ plate removal from our table. Many busboys walking back and forth empty handed. Could be taught to remove empty plates instead of relying on the waitresses.

Awesome and very extensive Mother’s Day buffet. Food was awesome and service was exceptional. Pasta bar and carving station staff were extremely friendly and made each request to its specifications. Highly recommend for special occasions as well as dinner.
