The Steakhouse at Cooper’s is a family owned, boutique style steakhouse providing the freshest cuts of steak cooked to perfection with our own signature seasoning. The Steakhouse is situated within a Meat Market allowing for the best quality and cut to order by our Butcher. In addition to our incredible meats, we off an extensive wine and beer selection, allowing for the perfect pairing with your meal. Our customers have said it best with “Cooper’s offer great food and service,” and “The best steak you will have!” Come in today and let us serve you up an incredible meal that will surely have you coming back time and time again.

We are located at 778 Fort Worth Ave and in the Sylvan|Thirty shopping center next to Cox Market.

Our server was amazing and accommodating but the food was bland and steak was not cooked the way my boyfriend and I requested it. we expected more but the server did make our experience better.

Tuesday night prime rib special is not to be missed! Nice slice of roasted and then grilled prime rib with whipped potatoes and creamed spinach, au jus and creamy horseradish sauce on the side. For just $29.99!

Great small steakhouse attached to a meat market. Make a reservation folks, with only a dozen tables you might not get a seat if you just walk in. Great service in a white tablecloth spot.

Early dinner, half-rack of ribs, spinach salad. All excellent, as usual, and the service from Chef Jason's spouse Karen is a standout pleasure. May be back for the Tuesday prime rib special tomorrow night.

A place where you can hear the conversation you're in. It feels every restaurant is blasting music to the point every table is yelling just to hear each other. Not this place; Cooper's is private, cozy and really lets you take it all in. The food, the company you're with and the experience without having to once ask "Say that again. I couldn't hear ya."

Our usual pre-game dining prior to Dallas Stars game. Flank steak and halibut entrees were perfection, as was the table service by Jason's wife, who was standing in during spring break. Coopers is our #1 go-to place for relaxed, top-shelf dining in Dallas!

I have tried a range of steaks, seafood, salads and burger. I’ve even tried some of their to go turkey and chicken salads. None of which have disappointed. We love Cooper’s and will continue to support local Oak Cliff business as I am a born and raised Oak Cliff entrepreneur myself.

I ordered the filet Mignon and it was so delicious. I ordered the Mac and cheese to go with it and the pair was lovely. I suggest getting a glass (or bottle) of moscato 😉

One of my new favorites. This place is not big but the food and service are amazing. I loved the truffle fried, pimento cheese, and the akaushi filet. I will be back again.

Hidden gem. The food and service were outstanding—a great selection of steaks perfectly cooked. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a great evening out for steak and not the fuss of the typical DFW spots but want the highest quality where it matters most.

I went on a double post valentine’s date. Had crab cakes, deviled eggs, spinach salad for starters. The deviled eggs was delicious and the salad. The crab cake was yummy, but I would have preferred it to be cooked a little bit longer. The entrees we had were the filet, ribs, and halibut. The ribs was some of the best the table had, the steak was delicious as well. I personally ally had the halibut and it was very good, I just would have preferred that it was cooked a few minutes less. Halibut can dry out easily. We shared a bottle of Riesling. The ambience was better than expected. Truly a nice date night sitaution. Overall, the dining experience was a 10 and I’m already planning to go back and try more menu items. In addition to the restaurant, the attached martlet had so many type of meats, sides , and to go entrees. Everything looked absolutely delicious.

The food was pretty good but not for the price tag. The ambiance was much smaller than we expected. Was not expecting to pay such a high price for a small spot located in a meat market. The waitress was very nice and stayed on top of our needs. I was very impressed with the deviled eggs and mac n cheese.

This place is a local treasure. My partner was raised on a farm and this is the only place we’ve found that has a steak comparable to home for her. The service and staff are impeccable and if you’re looking for a relaxing, incredible, and romantic dinner then this is the place to go!

The food was amazing! We had the BBQ Deviled Eggs, Akaushi Steak Tar Tar, the Akaushi Filet, the Akaushi Ribeye, brussel sprouts, and the fries. The Akaushi was so tender and delicious. The service was excellent. Overall a wonderful experience well worth the price!

An unexpected, intimate venue with great steakhouse food. Way better than the usual overpriced, expense account traps like The Capital Grill. This is a neighborhood place.

This place has it all! great service,food and drinks. The ambience is really cool and you can grab a few quality meats to go from their butcher shop or fridge like one of my favorite chicken salads to chilled wine or beer. Thumbs up and 5 stars!

The steak was well seasoned and had a great charcoal-grilled taste. Paired well with a loaded baked potato. Started with a pimento cheese board. Very tasty. Ended the evening with a delicious bread pudding our capable and friendly waitress suggested. She was very pleasant and helpful. Would dine at this unusual restaurant again.

Started with pimento cheese and deviled eggs as that is what the table wanted, not something I would have chose. With that said, I'd get both again as they were probably both the best versions of these apps I've ever had. The steaks are so full of flavor. I usually need some sauce to eat a steak. That was not the case here. Absolutely loved the brussel sprouts as a side, and the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes didn't disappoint either. I was too full for dessert but others at the table really enjoyed the chocolate cake and salted caramel cheesecake. The service made this birthday celebration the perfect gathering for an extended family dinner. There's something special about a restaurant when this is only your second time visiting this restaurant with many months apart and they remember you. It was like we were there family too. Like others have said, there is no shortage of steakhouses in North Texas, but none of them are like this place. Looking forward to introducing more people to this little gem.
