Hello there! The Kicking Donkey is an elegant yet relaxed place to come and drink, eat and meet with friends and family.

7 of us met for luch on the 3rd May, excellent food, staff were great and very attentive, I would recommend the Kicking Donkey, in fact I've booked again for this Friday lunchtime.

Me and my partner took both sets of parents for a lovely afternoon lunch, food was lovely, service was great, the fire was lit (toasty warm) and there was no pressure to leave the table after finishing.

I went for lunch with my mother and 2 dogs on Saturday 3rd Feb and we enjoyed it so much we booked for Mother's Day. Mum had the small fish and chips. I had the vegetarian ploughman's. Both were delicious. The service was excellent and we were made to feel like we were very welcome regulars. I particularly welcomed the dog friendliness. Super, super, super and would highly recommend
