Richmond keg finally got my meat order correct. Not overdone, as the previous times. I feel the bottle of wine we ordered was way out of line with what it actually costs. That was a huge mark up. Overall, it was a good visit with great friends

The Keg is very consistent. We always get a very good meal at a reasonable price. I would say better than that but we don't go out that often so unsure of comparables. The steaks are perfectly done, veggies are plentiful, tasty and not over done. We've only tried a few appies but have enjoyed each tme. The service has always been pretty good also. This last occasion wife and I had the crab cakes for appy, very tasty, especially nice crust. I had the 12oz baseball steak, excellent; with lightly cooked asparagus, carrots and mushrooms, also full of flavour, perfectly cooked/steamed? Wife enjoyed the lobster and rice pilaf. The Billy Minor (spelling?) dessert was sooo good!

My only negative comment about this place is it seems at bit pricey, though I guess with the price of food these days... Steaks start around $45, and only come with a potato OR veggies. To have both, tack another $10+ on. Appies or salads are $15-20. If you aren't a meat eater there are limited non-meat dishes. They do have a happy hour menu until 6pm, but it is very limited, and only a couple bucks off the regular price. You do get complimentary bread, and the service is excellent (at least at 6pm).

Place was not cozy, loud music even louder voices. Server was wiping the table beside us wiping the scraps just to the floor beside me while we were eating. Overall experience felt like a pub/bar with fine dining prices.

Our meals were absolutely delicious, and our server Jordan was outstanding! Even though it was a very busy Mother's Day in the restaurant she was always making sure that everything was good and if we needed anything! We are never disappointed when dining at the Keg, and the South Richmond location is our favourite 👍

Food was great but the service was not as good as previous visits. Our server forgot the complimentary bread. They also forgot the kids’ vegetable plates that were part of their meals. Thankfully they were not fans of celery and carrot sticks. Usually the service is excellent but not this time. Restaurant did not seem busier than usual.

Steaks were quite overdone when they were initially brought out. Server was unenthusiastic about switching them although she acknowledged they were much more done than we ordered. They were also curt through the entire service until we asked for the cheque. First time ordering shrimp cocktails and they were fine but for five Costco frozen shrimps $17 was a bit more than steep. Had much better visits.

Excellent again!! Saturday, four of us enjoyed an early Mother’s Day dinner. We received great service from Tim our server!! The filet mignon steak cooked to perfection! Thank you to all the staff in the kitchen😀 had a great experience. I think the Keg has the best steak in Richmond!

The hostess was the worst I have ever encountered, no smile, no greeting, then she didn't inform the server of my presence, ended up waited for quite a while before the menu was handed out. The server who took my food order seems to be quite new at his job. Am not entirely satisfied compared to the one who brought me the entree and he is the only reason for an extra star in service rating, unfortunately I don't recall his name but have met him from my previous visit a year ago. The calamari was ok albeit a little oily. Burger was tiny sitting in the middle of an oversized plate. On my way out, saw the reception desk was unmanned. Will not be visiting and won't be recommending to anyone anymore. Burnaby location is way better, too bad it is a little out of reach for me.

For a Sunday night, we were quite surprised at how busy the restaurant was, everything was still excellent. Our server Patrick, was the best, a total professional but very friendly and helpful. From the drinks, to the bread, salads, steaks and dessert, everything was perfect for my parent's 60th Anniversary.

Don’t order the prime rib! It was on special and it came out cold. Would not recommend and my husband says it was the worst steak he’s ever had. The cauliflower mash was also not good. The service was fine. The time it took for things to come out was fine. We normally get sirloin, but we got convinced by the special….never again! Disappointment steak. And it was our anniversary dinner…

No idea why we had to sit in bar area, when we had specifically asked not to. It wasn't busy in the restaurant area - person at reception seemed to think it was ok to place us there - no way we will be returning to sit in the bar area again

This used to be our favorite keg location but this time around my friends’ prime rib were very disappointing. It’s not the same as all the other times we’ve been there before. Additionally, the server was very stereotypical and assumed that my friend who’s Asian would want hot water, made her feel very uncomfortable and was unimpressed with that. Hence My friend sent an email with concerns the next day (april 8th) but have not received a response yet. Would have appreciated it if there was a follow up

My partners Twice baked potato was cold and very dry, and his steak was very overcooked. Also don't understand why the vegetables are just boiled veggies with no seasoning???

The signature Roast Beef and Steak are juicy and tender as usual. Service staff attentive and friendly, providing first class service. Parking could be a challenge during busy hours. Overall, very good dining experience.
