For a Sunday night, we were quite surprised at how busy the restaurant was, everything was still excellent. Our server Patrick, was the best, a total professional but very friendly and helpful. From the drinks, to the bread, salads, steaks and dessert, everything was perfect for my parent's 60th Anniversary.

Don’t order the prime rib! It was on special and it came out cold. Would not recommend and my husband says it was the worst steak he’s ever had. The cauliflower mash was also not good. The service was fine. The time it took for things to come out was fine. We normally get sirloin, but we got convinced by the special….never again! Disappointment steak. And it was our anniversary dinner…

No idea why we had to sit in bar area, when we had specifically asked not to. It wasn't busy in the restaurant area - person at reception seemed to think it was ok to place us there - no way we will be returning to sit in the bar area again

This used to be our favorite keg location but this time around my friends’ prime rib were very disappointing. It’s not the same as all the other times we’ve been there before. Additionally, the server was very stereotypical and assumed that my friend who’s Asian would want hot water, made her feel very uncomfortable and was unimpressed with that. Hence My friend sent an email with concerns the next day (april 8th) but have not received a response yet. Would have appreciated it if there was a follow up

My partners Twice baked potato was cold and very dry, and his steak was very overcooked. Also don't understand why the vegetables are just boiled veggies with no seasoning???

The signature Roast Beef and Steak are juicy and tender as usual. Service staff attentive and friendly, providing first class service. Parking could be a challenge during busy hours. Overall, very good dining experience.

Food was good but they brought bacon bits on our baked potato. We specifically told them no bacon. By the time they replated our food it was cold. The service was good otherwise.

When we first arrived, we were rudely greeted by the host, he told us, "we're setting up your table, please wait over there" Even though we hadn't even given a name for the reservation. When I gave my name, there was no apology, he handed us off to someone else. The food was okay, we ordered 3 steaks, one which was overcooked and had to be sent back.

Another excellent dining experience. Lindsay, our server, created a pleasant, well paced evening. Highlights were wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, tenderloin steaks, lobster tail and of course the famous Billy miner pie.

I grew up in Vancouver but moved out of the country to experience what it would be like to live in other parts of the world. When I was a kid, The Keg was considered high end and expensive. I recently moved back to Vancouver and decided to try Happy Hour at The Keg - I was pleasantly surprised how great it was! The portion was also generous, which I really appreciated. Garlic Cheese Toast was my favourite dish. I found their Old Fashion interesting, made with lot no. 40 rye, brown sugar and vanilla. The downside is that the location of the South Richmond one is a tad bit far out from Central Richmond, but I would certainly make an effort to go back again!

I go to the Keg atleast once every 2 months and I order the exact same thing. My usual locations are Yaletown, Dunsmuir, Langley, and Abbostford. Yesterday, I made a reso in Richmond based on convenience as I live 2 mins away. It was for my birthday dinner which I made a note on when I made the reso. The location, ambiance, and host (who acknowledged my bday) were the best part of the evening. 1. Our server was a tall male and seemed very new and skidish. He kept interrupting my friend and I every 2 minutes and we could not have a proper conversation without loosing our train of thought. He didn't know the items well as I asked him what veggies come WITH the steak and he said mushroom and asparagus. He also didn't tell us that there was a charge for additional butter for the bread. He didn't acknowledge my birthday either. 2. The same margarita I always order was so sweet and warm (not cold and too much simple syrup so not made to spec) was horrible that I sent it back. The server was upset and didn't handel the situation well. 3. The steak (I always order) was really fatty and looked like a flat iron steak. Not plump or juicy like a top sirloin. The veggies and baked potato were really good. 4. The wine was decent but didn't taste like he described. So he clearly didn't know his wine selection. 5. The server never acknowledged my birthday or offered a cake (like the other locations do). Overall, I did not have a good experience at this location. It's not up to standard or spec like the other ones. Needs improvement.

Excellent appetizers but the prime rib was a let down. The prime rib was kind of cold like its been sitting out for a while. It was also not tender.

Stellar service and our waiter did not skip a beat to help out a patron in a scary situation. After the patron was ok, waiter came to our table and asked if we needed another round of drinks. His service was amazing from start to finish!

We had avoided The keg for several years due to disappointing food at service at other Kegs. A relative was in Richmond and invited to dinner and suggested we go to the Richmond Keg. We accepted but were worried about another bad experience. But wow, the food was excellent as well as the service and ambience. The noise level allowed for normal conversation as well. We will definitely be going back the Richmond Keg again.
