Compared to many of the much more expensive steakhouses, I find the keg to be superior and then a much better price.

We had a great meal (again) at the Keg, it was my son's birthday and we gathered the family ( six of us) and headed to the Keg. Our waitress Ezgi did a great job ensuring we had everything we needed for a delicious meal. All steaks cooked to perfection and the lobster was awesome. Thanks again Ezgi.....

I appreciate the Keg. Everything was overall a 4. Sever didn’t ask if I wanted another drink. So missed opportunity there. Otherwise all was enjoyable.

Service and food were great although the Calamari appy was a little stale. Caitlin was a great server, never a bother but always seemed to appear just at the right time.

Reservation for 3 was at 7 pm. At 8:40 pm server said they were closing at 9, would we like to see dessert menu? We declined and continued eating main meal. We left at 9, as 2 other couples were at entrance for their 9 pm reservation (thought it was a private party) -- but on door downstairs, noted it was open to 10 pm. Server should not tell a lie; if table is only available 2 hours, use that phrase, do not lie and say you are closing at 9 pm. Never had that happen at this establishment before -- maybe server new to location and used it in previous work? Needs more training.

When during Happy Hour, very worth it. The house wine that is just made for the Keg is the best I have ever had. The large bread and the small buns are served warm and are so buttery!

Coming in we smelled a backed-up toilet, and we then saw air fresheners in the corners. The elevator smelled the same way, getting off in front of the host desk was a bit better. My prime rib was a funny greyish color with no flavor and a lot of fat. The filet we had to send back to be cooked properly (I set there eating by myself) and they did re-dress the sides. Our waitress wasn't good in any way and we didn't have her come by that much anyway. At this point, we will not go back there.

We were entertaining out of town guest and they appreciated the excellent food and service we have come to expect at our local Keg in Park Royal. There were three of us, enjoyed the requested booth seating, but none of us were fond of the new style Caesar salad. They have replaced ribbons of cheese and croutons with a sprinkle of cheesy bread crumbs that didn’t please our palates. The manager visited our table in response to us giving our negative opinions to our waiter. It would have been best to leave us be as we found her to be defensive. Her manager however comped us a Billie Miner Pie. Who could ever find fault with that. We ended on a happy note.

I am super disappointed Unfortunately there was a mouse just close to our table , and I couldn’t re act at all as I was the host !!!! Also the smell of the entrance is disgusting!!!

I found the food was OK. The server she needs To improve she was too quick to try to take our plates away when we still had 2/3 of a plate left. Also she seemed like she was trying to rush us so we can leave.

There was an awful strong odor as soon as we entered the lobby of the entrance to this Keg! It smelled like something died in there. This horrible odor continues all the way up the stairs and into the 2nd floor front greeting desk by elevator. Not a nice way to start a nice birthday dinner celebration for my boyfriend!!! Hopefully this will be dealt with immediately! Our waitress, table and food/drinks were all lovely. It was both of our first visit to the West Vancouver Keg location. I wish it was more memorable in a positive way. The odor was was the first AND last thing I will remember about our visit yesterday! I may recommend this Keg location to friends/family AFTER this issue is dealt with.

Was a bit disappointed with the experience. Most of my experiences with the Keg have been great. I have returned burgers on a number of occasions but since their new burger I have not done so. Yesterday's burger was dry and salty. They wanted to take it off the bill as is their policy but I had finished most of it so told them not to do so. I ordered an aioli as I normally do for the fries and none came. I told the runner this and he did not bring some over. I was sitting at the bar and my server was not paying attention, finally someone else came over and finally brought the aioli.

The Keg used to be awesome but has fallen in terms of food quality. The wedge salad was terrible and the chicken was a dry hockey puck. The beef is still very good but not worth the price. I’ll save my money for somewhere else next time.

First of all there is a serious problem with the elevator up to the restaurant; the smell is horrendous and is exactly like a sewer and should be urgently and effectively dealt with. There was a very small and ineffective room deodorizer on the floor to no benefit. Secondly the happy hour food options are very uneven value wise and proportion wise. The huge burger and sandwich with fries did not compare to the value level of the scallops and bacon alone on a plate with sauce and a wedge of lemon! And why can’t the restaurant offer GF buns or bread for the burger and sandwich options. Very poor GF Happy Hour food options. Why not offer fries as a happy hour option? Not enough choice for those with allergies.

A few issues… - We had booked a table of 2 and were sat at a table of 6. - There was a table of 4 young adults who were extremely loud and therefore really annoying - Our server brought the wrong beer but we did not say anything. She brought a pale ale instead of a stout. - Our drinks (beer and wine) were brought after our appetizers were served. -The quality of food was great as usual. Noticed the increase in price. 🙁 We live in the Point Grey area and come especially to West Vancouver because we love your location.

We always have a good time at the Keg. The only problem is we specifically requested a seat in the bar so some of the girls could watch the hockey game & they did not secure it for us in advance, so people were sitting there when we arrived. They found us a nice table & we went back to the bar to watch the end of the game & the winning goal. All good!

Recently, my family enjoyed a celebratory dinner at the Keg. The food and ambiance was excellent as always. Our only negative comment is that two out of the three steak knives were dull which made eating prime rib challenging.

This is one of my favorites spots for any occasion, however, I couldn’t believe I saw a little mouse running under the tables, worst when I told to the manager and he said, “yeah, sorry for that, I saw it too, at least not in the kitchen” What?, last time I eat there.

I’ve had very good experiences at the Keg, but this one was disappointing. My salmon was good, but my husbands steak was lukewarm, served with fries that were dry, soggy and not fresh. Broccoli was barely cooked. Not what we would expect from a $330 meal for 4 people (one $13 glass of wine- rest was food and a couple soft drinks). Probably will think twice about returning. Just too expensive for mediocre food.

Such a nice treat for our 20th anniversary! We splurged and ordered some nice items (filet mignon for me, and lobster dinner for my husband). The food was delicious, and it was actually better to sit in the lounge this time - comfy chairs, lots of space between tables, great ambiance. We chose to dine at 5pm, hoping for a more 'hushed' environment, and it was just great. Service was very good, and most importantly - the food was excellent. Highly recommend going to Keg Park Royal for a romantic dinner on some random weekday at 5pm. Editing to add: Where else can you get mashed cauliflower with your entree? Simply amazing, and I really appreciate being able to keep the carb count down, while still feeling totally spoiled. I ordered filet mignon 'classic' with the blue cheese wedge salad and chose the cauliflower mash as my side dish.
