We waiting a long time for two kid drinks and a bottle of wine. Then our salads came in 2 minutes. No cutlery or bread yet. Waited till our server came back to see how the salads were to be able to inform her we hadn’t had any as we had no forks. Finally cutlery and bread arrived. Dinner took quite a long time too. Then my sons meal didn’t have the butter for the crab legs until we stopped a different server to ask. It kept going out because the wick was too short. Hard to get someone’s attention to re light it. We were over 2 hours for dinner with two kids. Not the standard we are used to at the keg

It was my birthday dinner. The Greeter told us that we needed to be "more dressed up" to eat in the dining room section. This was borderline rude, and indeed disrespectful. We were dressed in smart casual, the typical dress code for dining out in our community of West Vancouver. In the dining room section, where we were eventually seated, the other patrons were dressed in casual clothing, including baseball caps. Our table attendant, though polite, was rather inattentive and our order was not delivered at one time, as we requested. The crab cakes were so delayed, we'd finished all of our other food, and the person delivering the crab cakes said we would not be charged. Our attendant did not notice. Then the wine.... My partner's wine was delivered along with the meal. I had asked for a sampler of two wines. Unfortunately, there was wine on the bottom of the glass. So when I picked it up to sip, it dripped onto my white pants. Another person, not our attendant, brought me soda water to try and remove the red wine stain. I spend the remainder of our dinner dabbing at the stain. (It took many attempts over the next day as well to remove it.) During all of this time my wine glass remained EMPTY, even though I had ordered the wine before most of our meal started arriving. After finishing our dinner our attendant asked if we'd like the bill. Ahhh... We needed to ask to see the dessert menu. At which point the attendant said that because it was my birthday my dessert order would be complimentary. We decided to just order it to go, as we were quite done with the unsatisfactory service throughout our dining experience. In reflection, neither of us have ever experienced such neglectful and overall poor service. Quite surprising for the Keg.

They were out cauliflower appetizer, mash potatoes, and the chicken wings. We were looking forward to ordering those. The server was okay, she took my aunts drink when she was not finish drinking it. I also put it was a special occasion for my mom's birthday and last birthday we celebrated the Keg at the downtown location and they provided us with a complimentary dessert. But at this location they did not say anything nor asked if this was a special occasion. When I did say it for my mom's birthday. Very embarrassing that she did not acknowledge it was a birthday and have the appetizers we wanted were not available. Probably will only go to the downtown location in future

Not sure we will be back to the Keg. We continually ask for a large table with 5 big adults and we always end up in a small booth. Lots of tables for 4 with 2 people seated but the only thing available for a party of 5 is a small table or a small booth. I paid $700 for dinner to be crammed in a corner banging knees all night with the person sitting beside me. Get it right Keg, we have been coming for special occasions for years and thinking we need to make a change. Made the reservation over a week in advance and when we arrive, no large table available. Apparently first come first serve is the order of the day so why make a reservation then and ask me for any special requirements? The manager tried to accommodate but the options just did not fit our party. And finally, how can a 7 oz filet shrink?? Isn't it supposed to be 7 oz or did meat get heavier the last few years??? Its been a nice run but time to find a new spot I think.
