The Keg is not what it used to be. Quality has gone way down hill. Caesar salad had enough dressing to swim in; I don't know who thought that was okay to serve. Highballs made with flat pop. Steak was okay, but chewy. Service was friendly, but slowed down in the second half of the meal. Took forever to get the check. Definitely not worth the inflated prices anymore.

I was again very disappointed that they did not have Strongbow in stock although it is on the menu. Likewise, I asked the waitress about the recipe before I ordered the escargot as I did not like the taste of it last time I was there as an orange spice has been added. She assured me that it was "normal" escargot of butter and herbs. This was not so, no compensation was offered. The lobster dinner was divine and the creme brulee was delicious as usual.

Firstly, I will say that we go to the Keg all the time for our birthdays, it was my wife's birthday yesterday. It's always a good meal. However, I will say that last night and exactly a year ago yesterday, both servers did not ask why we were there. Everyone knows that birthdays, anniversaries etc at the Keg means that get a free dessert which is always a bonus and a delicious treat! Plus, I had noted the occasion in the OT app. Disappointing really, especially because we've been going to the Keg for over 20 years. I have to admit that our best experiences were during covid. We were vaccinated and able to go out. We were treated extra special and the service was amazing.

Our server, Jared was excellent. Always there to top up our wine and ask us if we needed anything else. The food came out hot which is important to me and we had a very enjoyable time. 👍

Best steak I’ve had a long time. Great service. Lighting was a bit odd. Really dark but they added lighting to brighten the tables. Kinda felt like we were in a spot light though. Still a great place to eat. Even better now that they take reservations. We’ll definitely be back again.

I met some girlfriends at the Langley Keg for Happy Hour. I had the prime rib sandwich and Neptune mushroom caps. The food was outstanding and our server Mathew was fantastic.

Overall I would say it was ok. Not the worst experience but definitely not the best service took a while and the meal was a bit off today. My steak was overcooked but I did not want to bother for another it was not that big a deal. I would say for the price the presentation and service could of been better.
