The best kitchen in Alberta I have ever visited. Too dark atmosphere, needs more light, even though the restaurant is nice designed but the cutlery is very cheap and “worn”. Waitress was very friendly and kind. Prices are extremely high.

Having a reservation at 730pm we were actually seated at 7:55pm not awesome but it was Mother’s Day so it wasn’t terrible. It was a little noisy but not bad as there was a hockey game on at the bar side that made it a little noisy. I would recommend placing a wall or sound barrier between the two areas to reduce noise. Our food and drinks were delivered quite quickly which was good and our server was excellent! The main course was brought out by one of the Chef’s which I found extremely professional. Over all we had a great time and even had the option of corking our bottle of wine as we didn’t finish it with our dinner! Great place

Took my wife out to celebrate Mother’s Day. We knew the Keg would be very busy and it was. We were seated promptly…unfortunately…very close to the main door. There was lots of traffic continuously going by our table. Drinks, bread and salad came quickly but main course took almost an hour. At best the meal was lukewarm. My wife’s baked potato was under done. Service was friendly and attentive. Other than that the meal met our expectations.

Usually the keg is awesome, this time wasn’t up to their standards. My husbands steak came out super under done, they tired to fix it, but it wasn’t very good. I found that both my steak and my dad’s steak was tough and dry. And we get our steaks medium rare. The server was awesome! She tired hard and it’s not her fault. But the food wasn’t there.

We love going to The Keg!! We find the prices pretty absorbent which is sad. We only go now when we have a gift card.....can't afford The food was so delicious Our server was FANTASTIC!!!

Service was awesome! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and his service was top notch. The meal itself was good. But the steak I was served was grisly and I had to dispose of a few bites, ate a bit around it and packed up the rest for my dog. Not a great steak that you’d expect from a “ steakhouse!

Sam, made our evening so special and the food was delicious. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and we’re pleased that the keg contributes to the celebrations by providing the yummy miners pie (free) for dessert. We will be returning for our next celebration

Celebrating our son’s the marriage The Keg was the perfect place to enjoy a great meal in a comfortable setting. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and taken care of. The two children in our group were accommodated. The meal was excellent. The most impressive part of our experience was before we arrived at the restaurant. We wanted to present a wedding cake to our son and daughter in law. Staff including the manager with whom there had been in touch with and Bailey, our Server, couldn’t have been more helpful. We brought the cake beforehand and it was brought to the table at the right time. It was an amazing experience that meant so much to our family. Thank you!

Went for dinner with my wife and parents. Dinner was fantastic especially our server, Sam C. She was full of energy and a great conversationalist. Will definitely be back and ask to sit in her section.

We had a great experience & a fabulous waitress. The only thing, in our humble opinion, that needs improvement is your coffee. Even though we had more veggies than we could eat, they were delicious & I love mushrooms, & enjoyed our tasty steaks, sharing the Billy Miner cake was the perfect finishing touch!

Our server was Eric and I can honestly say, we have never had a better one! Eric was attentive without being overbearing, informative, considerate, efficient and timely. The food was outstanding! The restaurant was a tad noisy for us, but we had asked for a booth in a fairly secluded corner, and that is exactly what we got!🥰. Noise is to be expected on a busy Saturday night. We are never disappointed in the food at the Keg. And this time, the service gets an even bigger round of applause!

There was a large party right next to us that our server was also waiting on. We were basically ignored the whole time and had to ask for refills etc. the group was very loud. Our food wasn’t very warm and my husbands prime rib was tasteless. Quality check done so late it wasn’t worth complaining about anything. Very disappointed for price. Will not go to this Keg location again anytime soon

Excellent food and service as always. We shared the Rib Steak as it is 20 oz. Staff were very accommodating. Enjoyed celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Highly recommend especially for special occasions.

Sadly I was there with friends and had just lost my father, they brought me a card which I ended up forgetting at the table, I called a few minutes after we left but couldn’t pick up the card until the next day. When we picked up the card to see it had been opened up by someone there was very disappointing and disturbing…not sure we will go back to this location as it was a huge invasion of our privacy.

The service at this restaurant, which I have frequented for many years, remains commendable. However, I must note a decline in the quality of their hot bread—it has become denser with a thicker crust, making it less enjoyable to chew. Regarding the meal itself, I opted for the sirloin and lobster-style dish with vegetables. Unfortunately, the entire dish lacked flavor, with the vegetables being overcooked and lacking crunch and natural taste. The steaks lacked the expected mature flavor, and the lobster was plain. One improvement suggestion would be to offer garlic butter for dipping the lobster and a choice of steak side dressing. Despite receiving excellent customer service and a prompt correction when my medium steak was overdone, the overall quality of the dishes was disappointing. It's possible that my taste preferences have evolved since my last visit, but the lack of flavor and texture in the dishes is concerning, especially compared to past experiences.
