I love this restaurant but this time found the service, in particular the drinks service to be extremely slow.

Lots of variety and options. Tasty food, great service and the homemade ginger beer is a great no alcohol option.

This was only the third occasion I have visited this restaurant, but as with my previous visits the food and the service were both exceptional. I will hopefully be visiting again when I return to Edinburgh in August.

We were very disappointed with the service - in the first 40 minutes of being seated we only received two water despite asking several times for a bottle of wine and to order food. We eventually got wine but it wasn’t chilled enough - to be fair we kept it as didn’t want to wait another half an hour for a replacement! The whole atmosphere was not relaxing and the serving staff looked stressed and flustered - eventually we did get a male waiter who was attentive and the rest of the meal was fine.

Service very slow, took so long we left before dessert. Won’t be back. Was so looking forward to it ☹️
