Still one of my favourite places to eat in Kiama, especially on $12 burger night! Staff are so welcoming and actually want to have a laugh with you, despite being busy. Booking on line for dinner is my hot tip so you don't have to wait in line for a table.

Great restaurant, yummy burgers and chips. Sat outside so lovely and pleasant. Kids were able to move around. Would go back again.

Fantastic atmosphere. Excellent and friendly customer service. And the couscous salad is THE BEST! Hungry Monkey has a fabulous relaxed and welcoming vibe. Definitely recommend.

A bit too busy and not enough staff to ensure I was taken care of. It seemed they just wanted us in and out. It is losing its intimate feel and seems rushed. Really disappointing to see the HM go this way

We have never had anything but fantastic service from the staff at hungry monkey Kiama. Always friendly but chilled out. Nothing is an issue. Love it.

Amazing food and people. Disappointed to see only one bar staff on. We went their twice and on both occasions we ordered cocktails first off to make sure we had them before our burgers arrived. They did not get made and delivered to our table till after we finished dinner and nearly ready to leave. This was very disappointing but over all the people are amazing and burgers are best we have ever had!!

The vibe, food and service were all absolutely perfect. Hungry Monkey has to be one of the best places to eat in the Illawarra.

The food was good and that’s what we were there for. Enjoyed the cocktails too. The music was too loud for the indoor space we were in. We had difficulty hearing the staff and felt they were actually yelling at us to be heard. The menus at our table looked grubby and not inviting to touch - especially in this current world we live in.

Amazing burgers, chicken was tender and beef patties were cooked to perfection, steak wasn’t great, well done rather than medium, but staff were great, cocktails were good too. Would definitely return but would stick to burgers next time.

We booked for this place a long time in advance for a Friday evening at 5pm via Open Table but they weren’t open! I was notified they wouldn’t be opening by a neighbouring shop. I left a voicemail on the day of and they never replied to me. It was a poor customer experience unfortunately.

Great service with very accommodating staff, they were great with our high chair and pram requests. Really good coffee and the food was good quality. Hungry Monkey deserves its high ratings.

Our table was booked for outdoors and unfortunately it was raining heavily. The staff did everything they could to accommodate us by offering takeaway, Letting us wait inside until the rain passed and putting us at the top of the list for an indoor table as soon as one was made available. We were seated quickly, the food came out quickly and it was beautiful! Can't go past $10 burger night! Every time i visit Hungry Monkey Kiama the staff make me feel important and valued. Always amazing, friendly service!
