The food was very good , but the service was very ordinary. We ordered our drinks and after three attempts we received the correct drinks. Luckily the food orders were correct and delicious. We did have to ask for the dessert menu and coffee and then received two expresso martinis instead of one. Service is letting them down.

The food was excellent, but the restaurant was over booked and the background noise level was so high it was very difficult to hear the person alongside. The wait staff were very slow to take orders, and one of the drinks orders didn't come, and we had to ask for it twice.

Server was not engaged in her work with my family. Reaching over guests instead of walking to each person to collect plates or to hear orders as there was a large group of us. Service can make all the difference when visiting a restaurant and unfortunately this experience was not a good one. For the price we pay as customers to visit the Heritage House is expensive and to receive minimal service for the price i pay is not worth it. Unfortunately on this occasion i would not recommend this restaurant to family or friends.

We sat outside on a beautiful sunny afternoon where our lunch was served. All of us had seafood meals four with a lovely prawn pasta and one seafood hotpot. All were very fresh. Affogattos were served to three of us - a lovely finish to lunch.

I was very disappointed with my experience. This is the 3rd time I have been & I booked a table for 7 & selected a table on 30/3 when I had breakfast. I spoke with the chef & selected a table near the window only to find it had been given to another group yesterday. Our table was not near a window. It was a special birthday for 2 friends. There were a lot of flies & I mentioned to the waitress & she was to bring some whirling things - they were never given to us. My friend ordered English breakfast tea - it came with no milk until after everyone had received coffee etc. Also we had to argue that one of $10 sweets was not available as stated on the menu but a larger size was at a higher cost. This was not our problem. However a chef came and gave us our deserts at the $10 price. I appreciated this. I felt our treatment was shabby.

I made a reservation for outdoor seating but upon arrival, we were seated indoors. We had to request to be moved back outside. After sitting down, and asked if we were ready to order we had to ask for menus first… and even though the menu specifies shared plates when our food arrived, they brought it to us like individual plates instead, so we had to request to also bring share plates. We also had to ask for the table to be cleared, water refills, and the bill multiple times. Additionally, we had to request cutlery to serve with. Although the staff were friendly, they were not attentive to our table unless prompted, but they were accommodating when asked to assist. I think the staff just seem very new, perhaps in time they will be able to be more attentive rather than prompted. I like to add this was not 1 waitress or waiter this was all of them. Also very uncomfortable seeing a man who works there taking photos of the venue when we didn’t really want to be in them. Not sure if we were, but we did question it. Food was fantastic, and ambiance was lovely.

Poor service. Very bad coffee, so bad we didn’t drink it. Very expensive for what it is. Food was good but has slipped from when they opened.

The host was disinterested, the tables were dirty, the bathroom was also dirty. Waitress not trained and service very poor. No ambience. Food was good but not worth the price tag. Won’t be recommending or returning.

The Heritage is a beautiful cottage in lovely grounds. The Heritage breakfast is delicious and such a huge serving, very good value at $28. The only negative is it really should be served on a larger plate! The staff are friendly and obliging and attentive.

The food , ambience and service were great . My friend and I went there for a late lunch . We order Prawn from Entree , Barramundi and Steak for Main.... Everything were delicious . The dessert was something very very special . I highly recommend the place .

The only thing I can comment is that when food on the plates are clearly not finished, you don’t take your plates away. Other than that it was a great place to dine. Thank you for the tasty food.

Poor service, given warm bottle of white wine - when asked if we could get a cold bottle - waitress said that she’d had put ice in the cooler bucket ! So asked for a glass of ice instead to add to our warm glasses of wine-that took 15 mins to arrive All cocktails took 30 mins Food was average. Very expensive overall Very disappointed

This place is a beautiful hidden gem! I love its gorgeous landscape and surrounding green grounds, it has a modern design and the yummiest food. The service is wonderful, the staff went out of their way to make my daughter's birthday brunch a lovely experience. This is our second time there and we will definitely be coming back on a regular basis.

The Heritage House provided fantastic service and ambience. We were happy with most of the food we ordered - portion sizes were generous and the market fish (salmon) and side potatoes were delicious. My partner’s meal (one of the steaks) unfortunately was not seasoned or marinaded and lacked flavour. It was also a bit dry being pre cut into bite sizes prior to serving. This was the only disappointing dish.

We Booked 14th of February few weeks in advance indoor table, I know those days are usually crazy busy. Because of the rain all outdoor bookings moved indoor, so it became even busier. They prepared the table for us right in front of the entrance. The food was nice, but desserts were frozen. But I still would love to come again and experience it in normal days to see the difference.

Great ambience, Great food, Appalling service. We have been there twice, and it was the same both times. Such a shame that the Management team don't seem to have any experience or understand how to serve tables in a restaurant. We won't be back.

Food as always was tremendous. Chef is really talented and a lovely guy to boot but was severely let down by your servers on the night. Forgetful, slow and just seemed completely confused and overwhelmed which was a real shame. Often uncomfortable as had tables around me who were missing things. When things are stated as “on arrival” and served after the entree or even worse, asked for multiple times it’s not “on arrival”. I will be back because we like the chef and his food - I will however make it on a regular weekend night when it’s less chaotic.

This restaurant has so much potential. It is located in a beautiful environment, the food is truly delicious, it has a good wine list, including organic and vegan friendly options and the staff are friendly. However, for the price that they are charging, they are clearly aiming towards the fine dining market and this is where they fall short. While the staff are friendly enough, they are untrained, slow, inefficient, don't know their menu, and seem disinterested in the customer experience. They didn't have a sommelier and the recommendation I got for wine was, "well the table over there seems to like this one". I felt the level of service we recieved was more at a cafe standard. As she cleared the plates from our main meal, the waitress said, "I hope you have a nice day". We were left wondering if they offered dessert and felt like they were quite happy to see us go. We did, however, enjoy our meal and I think that with training and better management, the restaurant has the potential to be one of the Hills' best.

Well we gave this place a second chance but will never return. The service is beyond APPALLING and so slow. It was a disgrace and a total debacle like something from Fawlty Towers. The wrong wine came out three times, my husbands entree arrived first together with his main course. The other 3 main courses arrived before the entrees were delivered. The waiter was an absolute idiot and should NOT be working there. His voice is non existent and we had to continually ask him to speak up as we couldn’t hear a thing he said. He looked completely bamboozled. This place is a joke. Quite good food but service is run by young kids who haven’t a clue. Pay peanuts you get monkeys. Will never return even though chef came out and apologised and gave us complimentary desserts which we really didn’t want it was an embarrassment for us taking our friends there.

They need to fix their service by allocating waiting staff to sets of tables. Staff attention is far too atomised at the moment which means missed orders and long waits - we waited 1 hour before one of our party went and intercepted a "head down" server to take our order and we were not the only table... (they are so rushed and busy, they don't look up) . This place has has sooooooo much potential IF management address this.

The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. The service on the other hand was incredibly poor. It was as if our table was invisible and the 3 wait staff who were attending to only 5 tables occupied tables in the restaurant just didn't care to look away. We had to ask for dessert and coffee menus at the end of the night, and because they just took so long to come over, we didn't even end up ordering any . It was as if they were avoiding eye contact and when they did serve us, they had no expression or warmth. If they came up to our table throughout the night, we would've ordered more cocktails and wine, so they lost out there. On arrival they just told is that we're sitting on table 18 and didn't even walk us to the table. How we supposed to know where a table 18 is? Very poor poor amateur service. The chef was amazing!

First impressions are always important - the drink menu was stained and cracking - basically dirty. Although the service was pleasant enough and efficient, and the steak was very good - but $57 for a steak in Kenthurst is over the top - I can get a Rib Eye 350g at the The Meat & Wine Co for $54 in Barangaroo in a 5 star setting. The scallops pasta at $37 is also at the high end for a pasta dish - scallops were bland - bacon was good, pasta done well. The restaurant itself is pleasant enough, but ageing.

It felt unorganised the moment we arrived for lunch. Someone awkwardly greeting us that didn’t seem to work there properly. The vibe is too quiet and the staff weren’t very protective or genuinely attentive. I had been a few months back for the lunch special advertised on instagram and loved that, so returned for that. The staff didn’t seem to know what I was requesting and then said the special ended - such a shame as that’s what attracted me to the venue to return. I did put on the notes it was my husband’s bday hoping for some acknowledgement of it but nothing mentioned - it feels this doesn’t really mean anything to restaurants lately that people choose venues for special days to feel special. The pizza wasn’t very flavoursome, but the rest of the food was really lovely. It would be nice to see a lunch specials, it is a bit on the pricy side.

My husband and I had a fantastic wedding anniversary meal here and could not fault it - not that we would want to. Great service, ambience and food was beautiful and well-priced considering the prices of dining out now. This is definitely our next go to spot!

Beautiful restaurant however Very noisy, needs sound barriers installed, the staff could not hear and we had to repeat ourselves several times. Steaks were cooked however served sliced and cold Service needs improvement.
