I Love the ambience of this place and come very often. This time, unfortunately I have a bitter experience. Took a friend for her birthday. - 40 mins took the server to come to our table to take the drink orders and this is only because I had to walk to the front desk requesting a server to my table. - plates were sitting on the table for over 20 mins after we finish eating, no one came to ask if we want it a dessert or some extra water… once again, I have to ask the server if she could send someone to clean the table and bring a dessert menu. - Manager was also very rude when I told him our discontent. I guess the best time to come is during busy hours, lunch and early dinner when the service is great. Not a good choice for a 7pm dinner.

The check-in process was hectic, it took forever to get to the table despite many empty tables. The hostesses seemed not to care much

Very crowded for Mother’s Day and the kitchen was backed up, causing a long wait for everything. Our server was kind and professional and our food was outstanding as always.

The lobster roll I was served was the worst one I had ever seen. There were maybe 2 or 3 chunks of lobster meat and the rest was just shavings. The roll itself was crushed and flattened. I would not order it again. My husband ordered the chicken stack and he enjoyed it. We thought both items were vastly over priced.

MJ was amazing at helping us navigate the menu for our guest who has allergies. Supper mindful of what they could/could not eat. Even knew about products not made in house. Every little attention to detail was very appreciated and made our experience one of comfort and ease.

Good food. Marginal and chaotic service. Stood at the host desk for over 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged despite 6 people standing there. Weird.

Went in for lunch. Took 15 minutes for our drinks (two sodas) to arrive and 20 more minutes for our appetizer to arrive. Refills took forever for our sodas as well. Ordered two salads as entrees (Ceasar salad and beet salad). We finished eating and it took about 20 minutes to find our waiter to get the bill. Then another 15 minutes to check out with him. With tip, lunch was close to $100 for one appetizer, two sodas and two salads. Cute place but absolutely not worth $100 for lunch. Prices were insane.

This is one of our favorites! Today it took much longer to get our food. It wan not the waiter, it was the kitchen. Overall it was wonderful

Although most of the food was adequate, and the tuna tartare was excellent, avoid the goat cheese quesadillas. They were truly terrible. Our server was excellent and the ambiance at Hampton Social is always fun. All in all, mediocre food in a nice setting. I’ve eaten there many times and have never had as negative experience as I did tonight.

A bit too loud for a table of 6 to converse with one another. Good service, food is overpriced. Ambience of the restaurant and decor was nice.

Hostess was great, server was good , food was ok and atmosphere was very good. The quality of the food and the price would likely not return. The drinks were very good, grilled octopus had good flavor but tough exterior, salmon needed more flavor and fish was good but not the fries. Poke bowl was ok, missed some rice.

It was very windy but the service and food were very good. The spinach dip was outstanding. The Bloody Mary was excellent. The breakfast sandwich was good.

One of our favorite places! Great food and wjne. The restaurant is so well-run, from the hostess desk to the wait staff to on-site managers. We come here about twice a month!

Great opportunity to meet new people and socialize! It was a cocktail class and well organized. Bites were a treat and the cocktail wasn’t too sweet, nor too strong. We enjoyed ourselves.

Great atmosphere & service! Calamari was a bit over-cooked & amount received was smaller but more costly than previous visit. Pizza was a nice size for price and had great flavor. Fish & Chips was just ok. We were celebrating a birthday which was mentioned in reservation. In past, we have received either a glass of bubbly or dessert complimentary - not this time. Visit leaves me wondering if the value for $ is worth a future visit.

We were celebrating a birthday 6 people, I called the restaurant in early day to ask if they would allow us to bring in our own birthday cake from Deerfields Bakery…The young lady that answered the phone told me we could bring our cake that there would be a $3 per person cutting charge, which was fine. We arrived at the restaurant with flowers and our cake and the young lady checking us in said that they do not allow outside food, we explained that we called earlier in the day and got permission to do so, she became combative with us, we asked to see the manager, he also said that we were not able to bring the cake in, he also became combative and said it would be okay this one time and admonished us. We told him it needed to be refrigerated as it was a buttercream cake. He said he couldn’t do that and offered to put it in the closet behind the check in desk. We said that was unacceptable, he said he would refrigerate. It was not and the cake was warm when served. Our food was horrible except for the 2 burgers we ordered. Our server was wonderful. We will never step foot in any of the Hampton Social restaurants ever again!

Thump thump thump...the pumped in music was annoying. When we were nicely greeted by a pleasant pair at 6pm, a guitarist was performing, which was very nice. But by the time my meal arrived there was unpleasant recorded music thumping. Who likes that? Our table was in corner, next to a service stand,. Sometimes you don't a booth, I understand that. But I won't be back.

Loved all the food. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. One note, the tuna tartare was mushy and everything was mixed together. The texture was off. I have seen chunks of firm sashimi grade tuna and avocado in the past at several restaurants that focus on seafood.
