IMPORTANT: If Open Table does not offer you a choice to book an outside table it is because they have been booked already. If there are tables outside available you will have a choice between "Standard Seating" (meaning inside) or "Outside Table". We may have cancellations etc that could open something up so you are welcome to leave us a note that you would like to move outside if possible, but we cannot guarantee that.

We ask that all reservations up to 4 people respect a 90 minute seating time. Tables of 5-6 will be allotted 2 hours.

Since this location has limited protection from rain we could be forced to cancel outside reservations last minute. We will do everything we can to provide as much advance notice as possible.

Parties up to 6 people may be reserved online. For parties of 7-10 people please call our host staff to make a reservation at 512-263-2366.

Great lunch at The Grove-Lakeway. Roasted chicken with mashed potatoes was excellent. And, best of all, our server was exceptional.

We had a nice meal. Our waiter was new to the job and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but he was great and it wasn’t a problem at all. He’s a very nice man and a good representative of the restaurant. The seating outside was beautiful, although the flies decided they liked the food as well! :) Halibut was cooked perfectly and the spaghetti was excellent. Overall, a nice dining experience. Thank you to the restaurant staff and keep up the great work!

We were seated at a high top in the dining room which means you have a wine wall between you and the rest of the dining room and the pretty view so you can’t see much. Next to us was a pile of upside down and unused stacked bar chairs (at least 8) which is unpleasant and felt like we were sitting in a storage room. The place could be nice but it’s dated looking and the room we were in felt stuffy and muggy while the bar in the next room was freezing. Plenty of options for food - good variety and not bad tasting, but no one came to check on us for a while after food was delivered so I could either eat my burger while it was hot without the ketchup I wanted or sit and wait to find someone to ask while it got cold. It was the experience more than the food that was disappointing but we hadn’t been there in a while and were reminded why. Just not a pleasant dining experience at all.

The view is spectacular at the Lakeway location. Our waitress was charming and personable and great at her job. However, we had issues with our Steak salad. It was sent back twice and it was overcooked and they forgot the dressing which took 20 minutes to get it. the manager took it off our bill and the waitress felt bad. I know that those things happen sometimes. The brussels sprouts were excellent the wine flights are a fun way to taste different varieties and not have to drink too much or spend too much I will give them another try because the staff and view is worth it. I hope they have a new chef when I go back.

Food was good, but needed heating. Waiter was difficult to understand and had poor hygiene. Very disappointing. I’ve always enjoyed it there, but not this time.

All was good except when we asked to change our table, we were told we couldn’t as it had been ‘requested’ by another party. We asked the people that finally sat there how they requested that table. They told us they didn’t!!

3 out of 4 meals were apparently good. Service was good. My hamburger "stack" was raw in the center. Sadly, could not tell this until well into the burger as I was eating from outside edges in.

The pineapple upside down cake is the best dessert ever! The grove is an easy go to for consistently good food and service. My only complaint about this location is their auto sliding door. It opens every single time someone walks by and you get a gust of cold wind. Doesn’t make for a pleasurable dining experience.

We ate at Grove Wine Bar for Valentines. It was a quite atmosphere (but our reservations were at 4PM) and beautiful views of the country side. Our waiter was very cheerful and we actually learned a little bit about him. Our waiter brought photos of the specials for the evening, and I was so happy I picked one of them, is was scrumptious (rib eye, prawns and asparagus).

The food was not as good as it normally has been. We went on a Saturday night. It was very busy. It was very noisy. Perhaps that was the problem. I usually go for lunch and have never been disappointed before. Our server was excellent. I probably will stick with visiting at lunchtime.

Not the best experience we have had here. Servicer interrupted loudly with questions without pause. Salad was old & wilted. Good drinks & hostess. Please consider more Vegan options.

We had the red fish, salmon (w/forbidden rice) and pork chops. Everything was beyond delish! Adan was our server and he was passionate about all the items and steered us in the right direction. The bruschetta is a must too!

We wanted to have hot tea….. once our server, Adan, found out we were unhappy with our hot water for our tea, his attitude changed and he was not pleasant.

We made a reservation and got the worst table in the restaurant. Part of the order was forgotten (new ordering system so forgiven). Second glasses of wine arrived that we thought were a gift for the forgotten food but they showed up in the bill (we paid for it). Food was lukewarm vs. hot (like chili). Overall a very blahhh experience.

We had reservations and got there 45 min early to enjoy a cocktail in the bar. There was only one server in the bar and we literally didn't receive our cocktails until 15 min before the reservation (took 30 min to get waited on and our drinks served). Other than that it was a great experience and we will go back.

I usually love the Grove. But the food was not great this time. Dry bolognese, missing flavor. Even the Brussels sprouts weren’t as good as usual. Hope it was just an off night and not poor kitchen training or staffing issues. Sad because I brought family from out of town and raved about it. But then blah. 😒

I met a friend that I had not seen in sometime so we had a lot of catching up to do. The waitress was so nice and accommodating! The food was excellent as always!
