food and ambiance was amazing but the service could've been better. It took us 40 min before we got our drinks and initial order taken.

Service was a little slow. Food took very long. Vibe was great and our server he was amazing and attentive. Appetizers games out 3 mins before food n took a hour. Food was amazing once it came but waiting that long is crazy. It was Mother's Day and my mom was happy with food and vibe but any other day I would have complained.

The food was very authentic and delicious. It reminded me of back home with all the flavors. Am definitely going back soon.

The best place to go! The food was amazing! Very tasty and well seasoned! Also the service was great and friendly! It was a vibe! Highly Recommend!

Our first time at this restaurant and I was so happy with the service and the food! Our server was Andray and he was AMAZING!! His service and energy was everything. I would deff return and I hope I get him again. He gave us really good recommendations and the Rum Punch was life 😊🫶🏼👌🤤🤩

Worst service ever. I showed up on time for my reservation and was not even acknowledged by the staff. The restaurant is dark and not well lit. Very unfriendly staff.

The food was amazing bit the service that was provided was exceptional. Andray was very knowledgeable,polite and patient with my family. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Great vibe. Cozy place with great music. The food was also excellent. My favorite was the ackee tostones. It is a must try.

Called because we were running late and was told it was fine and to still come. When we got there we were ignored by staff for 10 minutes and only greeted by the chef. We left shortly after that because it appeared our presence wasn’t wanted.

So I decided to try this place because I’ve been seeing it all over the socials … I must say 10/10 I had the blackberry mojito which was really good but I’m not a big rum drinker so I tried the sorrel mimosa and honey let me tell you IT DID NOT MISS..for my app I got the ackee tostones jerk grilled wings and crab cakes..everything was amazing I ordered the stew snapper with rice and peas and couldn’t eat it because I was full off my appetizers. so I had a great lunch for the next day I also bought the bread pudding to go and it was more delicious than I thought it would of been my server Andray was very attentive and entertaining the grotto bk is a must try
