    Went for Sunday dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

    Well I can’t give a proper rating as we got there and was told there was no chef there, and that I should have got a call or email. Therefore we had to go somewhere else to celebrate my birthday Not impressed

    We arrived slightly earlier than I'd booked a table for, but we're seated straight away. Our drinks order arrived within a few minutes, and our food orders arrived within 10-15 minutes of being taken. Very friendly staff, and lovely food. Very good portions. Most enjoyable. We will definitely be paying another visit in the future.

    We tried again to see if things were better but food was very poor smaller portion than last time service was horrendous it seems they can't cope when busy lots of people complaining 😕 such a shame as we fid love it there

    Recently this has been our favourite place to eat but on Monday it was really poor the service was extremely slow and there was no rice for the chicken tikka . When asked they said its not on the order form but still on the menu

    Only half of the menu was available. What ever we wanted was not available. Once we did order, kitchen staff kept coming out saying t his and that wasn't available. Our daughter ate there 4 days earlier where there was no vanilla ice cream. They didn't have any when we went there. There was staff crying

    I’ve loved the griffin since I was young and showing it to my friends the other day was lovely. Definitely booking again.

    Food good not to expensive, had to go out for milk most establishmenr doing food Would have have this in stocks in stocks. Over all a Nice e nice experiancei

    The waitress particularly was very good and provided an excellent service however the food was not good. The roast potatoes were clearly frozen and prepared and were not fully cooked. The veg was bland and undercooked. The veggie option was again prepared as it had to be brought into the kitchen from the freezer through the restaurant. The meal was not Very hot! Mash was packet mash. Expected better quality of food for the price! Also the ice cream been defrosted then refrozen.
