We are a first come first serve all day restaurant. Walk-ins of all party sizes are encouraged at any time!

Our journey started on a quiet West Village street called Carmine. Two brothers, Dave and Pete, made a bold decision. Without any business experience, any real plan, or anything resembling a thought beyond getting through the day, we opened a restaurant. What we had lacked in experience we made up for with spirit and creativity. We did not want to be businessmen. We were artists. Our little shop at 33 Carmine St. was our original canvas. We set out with a simple mission: to create a place where people would want to be. We named it after our dogs, Moose and Goose Lane. Our Nolita location opened four years later in 2011.

We were disappointed to find out Greydog made some changes to their menu, specifically, the toast that comes with certain dishes is no longer the multigrain bread we loved. Instead, they replaced it with plain white bread. Blah. Probably to cut costs at expense of displeasing the customers.

Our server was friendly and the drinks and food were beautifully presented and tasty. The place is a little tight so may not be great for large parties but it was cozy and energetic for our party of 3.

The drinks on HH were the worst drinks I have ever had in my life. So sugary, no alch. Better off getting beer or other canned beverage at this place

I just starting going to this restaurant and I selected it because they accept weekend brunch reservations. The food is delicious and the service is great!!. The servers are all very welcoming and attentive which is very important to me. I highly recommend this place.

Good food and love that they offer breakfast all day. Good cocktails. Decor is fun and it’s not too noisy even with as many tables as they have. Service was the low point for me. Timing for them to take the order was pretty average, but our drinks came after the food. No one really checked back with us until someone came to clear the table. The person who took our order disappeared without explanation. I guess the good thing is they don’t rush you through the meal

Grey dog is a local dining venue with an eclectic menu food and drinks. Fried artichokes and nachos were good. Service was friendly and attentive. A good spot for local students

I was expecting a lot more for it being so highly rated. It was overpriced, and the eggs were bland. There were also not that many options. Nothing really memorable about my experience there.

Our server had no interest on our table - never even stopped by once. Funny how I was expected to pay at least 20% tip for the service I never received.
