The Grand Marlin Restaurant features a main dining area with a shucked to order oyster bar, exterior North Drop Bar overlooking Grand Lagoon, and private meeting rooms. This Panama City Beach restaurant, with an air of island casualness, serves the highest-quality cuisine, including the freshest local seafood featured on menus designed and printed daily to take advantage of the local bounty. The atmosphere creates a fusion of the Caribbean and the Panama City Beach Area. Corporate Executive Chef Gregg McCarthy has a passion for great-tasting food and particularly loves working his culinary magic with fresh Gulf Coast seafood. Boaters and beach-goers feel comfortable in shorts and flip-flops at the oyster bar, in the dining room and at the North Drop Bar. Our meal was so delicious! My husband had a wedge salad and fried oysters. The oysters were lightly fried. I had the grouper. This entree was amazing-very large fish, lots of spinach and potatoes Our server was very attentive and friendly We will recommend this restaurant to everyone

The oysters were huge. The scallops, grouper piccata, and basil seafood pasta were all fantastic. The key lime pie and chocolate brownie sundae were a great way to end the night. We had live entertainment and sat where we could watch the boats come in.

Food is great and of course nice view of the lagoon. Always had good service with waiters. The reception service needs some work. Sometimes great sometimes not so much. This time not so much. We had reservation for 4, said table not ready. Two groups of 3 came in after us and she seated them. So you are telling me you have tables with 3 chairs but not 4. The server that seats you at your table must have been asleep. The receptionist put two table locations with menus on the counter while the server that takes you to your table stood there for 3-4 minutes clueless.

Our waiter, James, was very attentive and answered our questions about certain dishes and also dishes that he liked or were popular with the guests. The calamari appetizer was very delicious - we loved the calamari and pepper combination. The Loved & Rubbed salmon was cooked to perfection! My friend raved about the Parmesan encrusted grouper! We will return!

Outstanding food at a very reasonable price! The service is wonderful and the venue / view is excellent. We go to Grand Marlin for all our special occasions… they never disappoint.

Maybe the hostess team is met with a lot of people being unreasonable about sitting by the water but felt there was a lot of resistance to my request. Said we would wait as long as it took because it was important to me because we were celebrating our anniversary. We were ultimately seated upstairs by the water and from there on it was a fantastic experience. Our server was very nice and made some great recommendations. We had the Salt and Pepper Calamari. Really enjoyed it because they added some veggies that were also breaded and fried (including pickles). My boyfriend had the scallops and I think we each moaned when we bit into them. So sweet and melt in your mouth delicious. I had the ginger soy yellowfin tuna and it was also delicious. An absolutely wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary and end our vacation week. Will definitely go back if we’re ever in PCB again. Highly recommend.

My favorite in PCB! Grouper picatta my favorite and the homemade praline bowl w ice cream and fresh fruit! Great wine and drink selection as well. You will not be disappointed!!

she enjoyed the fried shrimp dinner, saying they were seasoned well. Quite tasty. My shrimp and grits were different from what is served in upstate SC, but in a good way. The wine list was satisfactory and I enjoyed a German riesling. We had a window booth with a view of the harbor. But the star of the meal was when Luke brought the praline basket. Don't leave without trying that. We are not big on dessert but will have that again. Service was what you want --attentive without hovering.

First visit to Grand Marlan in PCB. Did make reservations. Was seated right away, order shortly after seated. Did not have to wait long at all for our food. The food was absolutely delicious, tasted fresh and was hot when served. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Excellence all the way around! The BBQ oysters were every bit as good as our server said they would be. Then the gumbo made an entrance worthy of the Grand in the name. The Grand finale was the grouper picata. An excellent ending to our PCB vacarion!

We had an 8:30 reservation. By the time we were seated, they were out of ribeye, chicken, salmon, and hush puppies. 😕

The table we were sat in was probably the worst one in the restaurant. Back corner with the sun right in my face and an exit door that was locked, but people kept trying to get out. Aside from that, everything else was as good as always. I will kindly ask not to be seated there next time.

We make it a point to eat here when we visit PCB 2-3 times a year. It’s getting worse over the years. My grouper piccata was served to me with a ring of oil around it. I smoke meat 4-5 times a week and I would never serve this to my wife or guests. When I submitted a complaint on Yelp they told me it was their best seller and that I was seeing butter. My wife had butter around her meal. It’s yellow. The oil on my plate was clear and definitely wasn’t butter.

Perfect dining experience at the Grand Marlin! Food is always amazing as well as the service. Shrimp cocktail is so fresh and the grouper picatta is excellent!

Grouper Piccata lived up to the hype! Greek salad w romaine was a solid option to start. Threw some truffle fries on the side and had our version of Pittsburgh salad. Seafood gumbo was above average. And the grand finale of the praline dessert option was outstanding! Overall a 5/5
