They were out of several menu items at 7pm on a Tuesday. Music kept randomly turning off and the restaurant would be oddly quiet. Food was just ok nothing out of this world great. Would come back maybe in like 6 months when they have been operating longer.

My husband and I went for my birthday dinner. The staff was insanely friendly and accommodating as well as knowledgeable of the food. Everything we ate and drank was fantastic. We are fully convinced we would have been impressed by anything we could’ve ordered.

Dined here for the first time. It is a very nice, airy restaurant with a great vibe. The menu is quite interesting and I believe the restaurant has potential. We were disappointed in the service-the drinks took over 10 minutes for a glass of wine and a beer. We had to ask for salt and pepper twice. I had to ask twice for a steak knife.Nothing major, just inattentive service. We'll go back, but were a little disappointed.

Friday evening girls dinner before our concert. The restaurant was not full and they wouldn’t seat our whole party even though half were there... just a small party of 4. I would understand a packed restaurant but you would think you’d want to start allowing your customers to start enjoying themselves and spending money at your new establishment. Salads were too dry but the Pesto Rigatoni was very good but came out cold. Everything just took forever for not being that busy. Likely will not go back and just stick to Happiest Hour or Te Deseo before concerts/events at AAC. Also noise level at 7pm was already very loud I wouldn’t dine here if you are trying to actually have a conversation with your company.

15 minutes sitting at the table. Had to ask a hostess if she could please ask someone to serve us. The waiter took our drink order for 3 glasses of wine and later we had to call him back to order an appetizer. Had to return to the host stand and ask if someone would take our dinner order. We picked the 3 most popular dishes and they were very average at best. Once again…. After sitting without anyone coming to our table I had to return to the host stand and ask if I could please order a glass of wine. As the miserable Birthday dinner slowly clicked away - I once again returned to the host stand and asked if we could please get a check so we can leave. Hostess asked if I need to speak with the Restaurant manager and I said NO please don’t ask him to stop by, we just want to leave The Manager was notified and he stopped by. He discounted the food portion of the check.

The GOAT is no gimmick, it honestly is the Greatest of All Texas! The lobster and steak bite appetizers were phenomenal. We tried the tropical chicken, basil pesto rigatoni and the filet as our entrees. The filet was the best I’ve ever had. It blew my mind. The pasta was light enough so we did not feel heavy and full…the flavor was impeccable. The chicken was cooked to perfection and very refreshing. I cannot wait to go back and try everything. We tried multiple specialty cocktails and there is no question that they will be flooding your Instagram feed. Just like the name, the drinks are not a gimmick for social media clout. They are so delicious with some of the most impressive presentations I’ve ever seen. The atmosphere was perfect for leading up to a good night. The layout of the restaurant is perfectly planned for something more private or a large celebration. The DJ booth overlooks the downstairs dining room and will make for some unforgettable evenings! With all that being said, the thing that places the GOAT above and beyond the competition, more than the food, drinks and atmosphere, is the way the owner makes a point to be present and check in with each and every table to ensure a wonderful experience. You can tell he poured his heart into this place and it is reflected in the top tier experience. Just go to the GOAT.

Really nice place the staff was friendly. The food is just ok in my opinion. The hummus was however delicious. I would go back but just for drinks

Really cool place, very lively. Super clean and friendly staff. I don’t like that they sat me in a pretty undesirable table, and I had a reservation and had a pretty big bill. I was there before it got busy, at 6:30. Food was incredible, the tomahawk was cooked PERFECTLY. Great hummus and drink menu! Cool vibe and good food.

Do not go here for a date night. Was extremely loud. Was 4 of us. We couldn’t even hear each other talk. That loud of music at a 7pm dinner made it unpleasant. More a late cocktail spot from the presence they are making. Food was 2/3 out of 5. Greek salad was great though.

So the food, drinks and service were impeccable! Faves were Dynamite Shrimp, Filet Bites and Kibbeh Meatballs for the table; the scallops and risotto and pesto cream rigatoni were the BOMB! Snapper was really tasty too!! The “Something Chocolate” was the most interesting dessert I’ve had in awhile and I’m picky! Dark chocolate lovers- this is for you! Will certainly be back!! 🫶🏻

I don’t think there is another place in Dallas quite like The GOAT. My wife and I went with another couple and had a great time. The food not only looked great, it tasted amazing as well. The drinks were mixology grade and the overall vibe was fun and vibrant! Will certainly be back soon

Me and my girlfriend came in on a Saturday evening, and waited an hour for a salad and meatballs to never come out. As we waited for our food to never come, we seen 2 managers walk around and speak to EVERY table, besides ours. The music was so loud I couldn’t even hear myself think. But ALL of that is ok because they gave me a 1/2 off drink and 1/2 off appetizers ticket for when I never come back!

It recently opened and you could tell. It was either too loud or the waitress just took the wrong order for apps and the meal - be sure to check the bill bc we did get charged for the wrong order as well. The wait for the food coming out was very long! And it wasn’t all that warm. Food was alright - the kofta kebabs were overcooked and the salmon was undercooked. But the goat cheese dip was very good. The manager did take off an entree and drink because of the waits, so that was very nice.

We went out for date night, just to have some alone time. This place is a whole vibe. We enjoyed ourselves once we walked in the door, from greetings to the amazing food & drinks. Plus the music was on point, it set the whole mood. It's a YES for us - we will be back.

We were excited to try this place. Appetizer of kibbe was great, with an amazing dipping sauce. Drinks were pretty good. All downhill from there. Tabouli lacked flavor (Better after I squeezed some lemon on it). The GOAT Flatbread was ok, but way too much sauce and toppings were thrown on in random clumps. Some pieces had no chicken or avocado, and just a blob of the tomato pesto was on one piece and nowhere else. We paid for Evian still water, and it was refilled with iced tap water, even after I put up my hand and said, "no thank you". I didn't complain or say anything, not a big deal. BUT- When they realized what happened, they just apologized and set an empty glass on our already crowded table, since they weren't very prompt in collecting used dishes. We were told that they preferred to bring dishes in courses, though we could opt for family style (just 2 of us??). We chose courses, and were rushed through each of them, which was fine ultimately because we were ready to leave..... The music playing from the bar was just a VERY LOUD repetitive beat (the "boots and pants and boots and pants" beat lol) in different songs, and we couldn't get out of there fast enough once we had enough and realized the food/service wasn't worth it. It was too loud for dinner (not a club), and REPETITIVE. I wonder if the positive reviews are from friends of the managers, because the two gentleman who appeared to be managers (judging by jackets and self important look) only graced the tables of their families/friends and pretty young females. They went to these tables multiple times, but didn't stop by ours or those around us even once. A lot of potential- fair prices, decent portions, potentially really good food (with improvements to consistency and some tweaking).... but too many misses for us. Suspect poor management is the problem here, and you just can't fix that. We will not likely return.

Bad start. The hostess could not figure out how to see us in a 2/3 empty restaurant. Waitress thought we could not read English pointing out the headings of the sections of the menu. The wine was reasonably priced. The eggplant for the table was pretty good, but not easily shareable or at least not easily shareable if you wanted to taste each of the different layers. The chicken kebab was beautifully plated, but one or more of the accompanying side dishes contained so much garlic, that I literally felt ill by the time that I reached my car. Our waitress came back before each course asking what we thought before we had taken a single bite. The only time that she disappeared was when we were finished and wanted to get out. 10 minutes to get the bill. Pretty restaurant. Pretty food. Pretty sure that I will not return.

Awesome. A friend in Tulsa referred me to try The GOAT in Dallas. I was not aware that there is a GOAT in Tulsa already. Quite similar, though some differences in the menu and a slight name difference. I will now have to try the one in Tulsa !! The GOAT in Dallas just opened April 3rd. We had dinner there April 9th, purposely choosing to dine *after* the Eclipse weekend rush, knowing they were brand new. Tuesday night was not busy at 5:30, though it was picking up as we had dinner. It is in a bright space with lots of wide open glass for viewing the locals. The inside of the restaurant is very tastefully decorated and comfortable - just upscale enough to feel at home in nice jeans, or in a tux. The food. Awesome. Beautiful. Tasty. Plentiful. I had the Shrimp Mango Flatbread. It was quite tasty, with a slight kick. The flatbread was perfectly between crisp and chewy. The ingredients used were fresh, brightly colored and delicious. My dessert was their mini Key Lime Pie. It was smartly tart, covered with whipped cream, and the perfect size. My partner had the GOAT Burger. I don’t recall al the details, but I know it was reportedly cooked to perfection, seasoned wonderfully, the melting cheese was a tasty addition, and the Truffle Fries quite nice. The Something Chocolate dessert that followed was stunning in appearance, and obviously delicious as it completely disappeared. The entire crew was warm and friendly, making the evening quite pleasant. We will return.

Loved waiter Ghandi.. - music loud - customers dressed very poorly..holes in jeans, work boots shoes, t shirts,...very sad you didn't adhere to your own requests. Atmosphere dark ..this isn't Manhatten. Designer needs to visit Harwood restaurants! Henry etc

The goat is the new spot! Everything from the drinks to the desserts were AMAZING! We went for a later dinner so we got to enjoy dinner then the night vibes they provide! I definitely recommend getting the tomahawk it was so delicious for not even being a statehouse! The location is perfect for a dinner before any game or concert at American Airlines! The staff is so AWESOME, everyone was so attentive and kind it was 10/10 service. Definitely get Rudy as a waiter if you can he made our experience even better and helped guide us through the menu and everything! If you're looking for a place for date night, girls night, or any occasion you need to check this place out!!

The service was really nice and everyone was friendly. Some of the food was good and some was just ok. The Brussel Sprouts were undercooked and hard to eat and the Flatbread had so much sauce on it became soggy. We enjoyed the pasta and hummus. The music is club Mediterranean style.
