We decided to try the Gloriette for my birthday and it was an amazing experience! First off, if I could double my server's star rating I would. Destin was AMAZING and if you get an opportunity to request, then request Destin. The cocktails were delicious. I had a Paris is Burning, made with my favorite gin, and my husband had a Paper Plane, both drinks were phenomenal. We had the crispy Louisiana sweet potatoes as our starter and the Berbere spice gave it an extra oomph. For our entrees, I had the sweet potato and crawfish gnocchi for our main dish, and my husband had the venison. Both dishes were delicious and I'd highly recommend either of them. We finished off the meal with the creme brulee and the lemon creme fraiche cheesecake. Again, both were delicious. I'd highly recommend checking this place out.

Red fish, gnocchi, pork chop and salmon dishes all prepared nicely. Probably wouldn't repeat the salmon though. Brussels sprouts were delicious as well as sweet potato appetizer. Beautiful atmosphere! Very quiet on a Tuesday night.

Another great experience at The Gloriette. Wine selection was superb. Seafood gumbo, gnocchi with crawfish, redfish, salmon, and mussels were each 100%. Always enjoy a meal there!

We were there for Brunch. Food was very good and bit pricey but not unexpected. The service was a big let down. After being seated for about 15 minutes I had to ask for someone to wait on us. My waiter then showed up a few minutes later. We ordered iced tea, came with nothing to stir so had to ask for a spoon. The food was delivered by a food runner but didn’t see the waiter until we finished our entree. Then he came for a dessert order. My compliments to the bus people, cleared other tables with no noise.

Great food and service in a lovely atmosphere! The caramel stick bun is to die for and worth a return visit on its own.

Hadn’t been there since Ox Lot closed. Sorely disappointed. The layout is terrible, in comparison, and the food and service were average. When we entered, tables were still not cleared. Ordered the gumbo with potato salad, but it had rice instead; but, it was very good. Ordered eggs Benedict which came with no side, and was runny and English muffin wasn’t toasted well. Sauce was broken. When I questioned why wine was not the vintage on the menu and whether the price was the same, was told the wine was “comparable.” You don’t advertise one vintage, then sell a newer one at the same price. We won’t be back. Miss Ox Lot and Chef Jeff.
