A place anyone can become George - where the party starts with you. Chef-driven American fare, unparalleled sports viewing, and captivating entertainment intersect to create The George Sportsmen’s Lounge, or for short – The George. The concept pays homage to classic Vegas big tippers, commonly called “a George” – a nod to the recognizable portrait on the one-dollar bill. The sportsmen’s lounge features indoor dining and a vibrant outdoor patio with wrap-around LED screens that create an immersive atmosphere for sports, live entertainment and private events. Brunch was very good. Omelet and Avacdo toast was great. No toast served with the omelet was the only disappointment. Service was great.

Had service issues with getting food and condiments. Had to chase for it multiple times. Not anything impressive for Mother’s Day for food outside of normal. Rose was a nice touch. Great seating, server was polite and followed up consistently but as said had to remind them of our order multiple times. The server who brought us the food was told we ordered a side of bacon and he said there was bacon in the omelette and I said I know and we ordered a side of baco also and never came back. Told our server was still waiting on the bacon and it finally came out My daughter and son in law went there a few weeks ago and said service was bad for them also so be careful. Bad service in Vegas will shut you down.

I love this place! The food is very good. The prices are not bad. I love the multi-screen sports set up. The open air design of The George adds to the ambience.

My second time here tonight. There was a little delay on getting us seated due to an event that night despite having a reservation. The hostess was very transparent and got us seated within a few minutes. Server was great and checked on us and the food diligently. Since it was a sports book, the loud and lovely ambience was expected and did not disappoint. We really had a good dinner experience and will be back!

I found the hostess to be rude, we asked for another table, we were denied any other options. When the waiter came, we told him we were unhappy with the table, and he replied that he didn’t like it either!

It seems the lunch time crew need to take lessons from the evening crew. Our lunch was not all that great. I ordered sliders it was full of onion straws and just a little teeny bit of meat! So disappointed. I have been there several times and keep trying but the lunch time experiences just aren't all good.

Amazing experience!! Great food and options. Top-notch service. Our only compliant was that they didn’t have all of the beers on the menu. Otherwise. A+! Come watch a game, stay for the food.

The place was great everything from the moment you stop at histess desk to sitting down a d waiting fot the server was great. The food was awesome as it always is, tha place is where you want to be to get some great food and watch a game or two!!

This was our first time here and we went for the Kentucky Derby 2024. This place is FUN!!! We came in from the outside (as opposed to the casino entrance). They have a great outdoor area with beach like open seating, a stage, a bar, tables .... They also have another huge area which is the Sportsbook. I think there are 3 bars in total, cant even count how many TV's. Wherever you sit -there is some kind of TV. Had appetizers. The chicken bites were OK - nothing super special. We also had the shrimp appetizer which was excellent and the philly cheesesteak egg rolls which were delicious. The menu is very extensive. Appetizers, flat breads, sandwiches and full entrees. We were seated promptly even though the place was PACKED. Our server Summer was great - there whenever we needed her even though it was super busy. We will FOR SURE go back to this place. The energy is fantastic---just a great fun vibe. I understand they also have nightly entertainment. We will go again and probably just found our new "go to" place off of the strip.

Great place to watch any sporting event. The energy of the crowd, along with the DJ, made for a fun VGK watch party without your typical watch party cover charge. We had so much fun in the "outside" area. But don't be fooled, the temperature control was on-point. The food was delicious. The drinks were OK. The prices... higher than your neighborhood bar, but not as bad as on The Strip. Our server was VERY attentive even though she had a very large area to cover - really impressive!

I recently visited this restaurant with some friends and I have to say, I was blown away by the experience! The food was absolutely delicious - we all tried something different and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was also fantastic - our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with excellent service. We will definitely be back!

Our food was so yummy! The halibut was outstanding. We had Summer as our server and she was great. She was fun, knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be back!

The music was too loud when dining in the upper booth area. Can’t believe they asked for a $30/person deposit for a table. Then have a card on The table stating you will buy $50 worth of food per hour!! Service was fair but not amazing. Service should reflect the above average food prices. I had to remind the establishment that I had already paid a $60 deposit so they could take it off of the final bill! I’ll be taking my business back to Red Rock Casino, T-Bones, Osterio, Lotus of Siam, Taverna!

Required a $30/pp deposit that would be applied to receipt. It was never applied to receipt so we paid the bill and got stuck with a $30/pp “cover charge”. Waitress acted clueless when it was brought up. Credit Card dispute was filed. This was shameful.

Food is just barelyaverage bar food. We had been coming to The George every week since Durango station opened in December. I have noticed a significant drop in quality of the food. A few recent examples. Ordered a Wedge salad, received half of a wedge instead of “a wedge”. More like a door stop size. The last time fish & chips were ordered. Received 4 pieces with fries. Now down to 3 pieces and over salted fries. Final straw to get me to stop going. Had made a dinner reservation yesterday for this coming Sunday afternoon. Received a call today saying they were pulling ( canceling) the reservation unless committed to a table minimum. Because they changed to a watch party for the hockey game. As I told the person who called. That’s not how a reservation works. Besides you’re probably doing everyone a favor since you all have cheapened your food and now show how you don’t acknowledge regular customers business. Find someplace else to go! Don’t waste your money on average food

Great new place, love the indoor/outdoor aspect. Had eggs benedict with hollandaise on side. Poached eggs came cooked all the way through so sent back and then when the dish returned, eggs were fine, but hollandaise was on them. Overall taste was good, just wish they could have gotten my dish correct. Also, had live music during brunch, he was very good, but the music was so loud we could barely hear our friends talking on the other side of the 4 top table. Unnecessarily loud.

Went for a hockey game and had a great time. It was loud but it should be for a playoff game. They had a live drum line that matched through the whole patio area during commercials. Really nice place in general but the best part of the night was our hostess Denverly!!! Super fun and full of energy she really brought everything together to make a memorable experience!

If you are going to accept reservations, then don’t rush people out. We had to wait 15 minutes for service, and that was after going back to the host stand to ask if anyone was waiting on our table. Had to flag down another server to get us a second round of drinks after sitting there empty for a very long time. We were asked to basically leave because they had reservations for our table, we hadn’t even been there an hour when this happened. Again if you are going to accept reservations then you need to caveat that our reservation had a limited time as we never would have made the reservation to begin with.

We ended up sitting at the bar on the patio so we could play the machines. I ordered the mushroom flatbread and a margarita. My mother ordered the dinner salmon entree. The salmon dish was delicious! My flatbread dish was awful. I couldn’t even get through one square piece. Our waitress/bartender was awesome. She didn’t charge me for my entree and was extremely observant of everyone’s needs. My biggest complaint was we had to pay $20.00 each for a margarita that I assumed would be free because we were playing the gaming machines. Apparently, you have to put money into the machine before you order. Who knew! She did give us huge margaritas to go because of the misunderstanding but we ended up taking only a few sips while we were in the casino. Not good margaritas at all. If I’m going to pay $20.00 bucks for a margarita I expect to at least get a buzz.😄 Anyho, Great atmosphere, Love all the TV screens. Would probably go back again but definitely not order the flatbread or the margaritas.

This was my second visit to The George, and my part thoroughly enjoyed it. Two of had the Green Chile Burger and the other had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The burgers are simply amazing! They have a unique comeback flavor that leaves you wanting more. And the Short Rib sandwich was rich and luscious and delicious. And their fries?... the best! Already looking forward to my next visit... although I'm also wanting to try the Shang Artisan Noodle restaurant in the casino. So many good choices!

We had the fish and chips and chicken sliders. The sliders were twice the amount that you would receive on the strip, which was surprising. The chicken sliders were excellent. The fish and chips were excellent. The fish had a light batter on it so you received a lot of fish. If you are a sports fan, they have large TV screens to watch all types of sports.

The management of The George is DISGUSTING! Particularly the manager named CHANTELLE. Myself and two others had drinks & food here for the March Madness Final Four games. We had a reservation but were early and asked if they had seats open, and....they had PLENTY of open tables. So they seated us in the outdoor bar area. After about 1.5 hours the waiter informed us that they have a 2 hour limit (something she could have chose to not "enforce"). We looked around confused because there were plenty of tables and we could see plenty tables were open to be booked on Open Table. This was a policy they never informed us of prior and if we had known we would lose the table we would have never sat early. Plus, lets face it, these restaurant time limits are completely made up bull**it that some restaurants have started implementing suddenly in the past few years. I can understand if someone comes in and just sits and doesn't order anything, but that's not what we were doing. We were ordering food/drinks and planned to order more. I hadn't even ordered my dinner yet but we had ordered several appetizers and overpriced drinks. Then the manager came over and said if we wanted to keep our table, we would have to pay $75 PER PERSON (on top of what we had already spent) to keep the table, or we would have to leave. We still had food and drinks that we were trying to enjoy while watching the games, but now our experience was ruined on top of the money we had already spent (about $150). We were planning to order more food and drinks but at that point I refused to order more. The manager addressed one of my female guest as "honey" when trying to explain their made up "policy" that they can't actually enforce. (And if you doubt that it can't be enforced, ask them to call the police. The police will laugh in their face because guess what? It's a made up bull**it "policy", not law, and they can't physically remove you for the "crime" of simply sitting in a chair and enjoying a meal.

BEWARE! Management shakes you down if they feel like you aren’t ordering enough. They implement random policies and start charging each guest at the table $75 each if your bill is too low. Horrible experience. The manager named Chantelle totally ruined my NCAA experience. I will never be back and will not recommend if you want to go and watch sports.

The George is new and fabulous amazing sights and atmosphere. Sat outside patio and listened to live piano music. Views of the tv screens all around. Food perfect ordered chicken and pancakes eggs bacon and sausage. Will return again.

Me and my daughter have been coming here to watch our teams play and enjoy a good meal for at least once a week since it opened last December. Everything has been great except for this last time when one of the waiters told my daughter in a commanding voice to move her chair inwards even though that chair was placed there by them as part of the seating and there were these drunk people sitting in the middle of the walkway where they had literally moved the chairs there from somewhere else and they were loud and obnoxious. But they didn’t say anything to them. I was very disappointed and told the manager. Do not get served by Jay.
