We had a nice dinner at the Fort, birthday for one of our daughters. The Fort is a special place to visit with nice views and unique menu. Service was great but it is a larger restaurant capable of serving hundreds at the same time which is reflected in the kitchen. I recommend picking items on the menu that doesnt require too advanced cooking.

Waitstaff was wonderful. Location was stunning. Menu is unique to Denver and unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else. Prices are high but I was willing to spend for the experience. However, the food did not meet expectations and my meal was extremely overcooked.

We have never had a disappointing experience at The Fort. Last night was no exception. Our server, Adam, was simply outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, & though swamped with tables, never forgot about us & kept a very sweet attitude. His two assistants were just as impressive. As for the food…again, never a disappointment. It was beyond excellent, including cocktails, dessert, & coffee! Though pricey, worth every dollar. We noticed improvements to the outside areas. Lovely! A night to remember. We shall always be back.

My birthday dinner was fabulous. Service, food was worth the cost. If it’s an event for someone important then this is the place.

We enjoyed our dinner celebrating our Granddaughters Graduation. The ambiance was nice. the food was very tasty. The wait staff were nice and helpful. This was my 3rd visit. All 5 of us had the game plate, had the bone marrow and rocky mountain oyster appetizers. The vanilla creme brulee was good however didn't see or taste any vanilla. Our main server was not very friendly nor attentive. She only smiled when we were checking out. Could be my imagination but her mood changed when we ordered waters.

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner for our anniversary at The Fort. The service was top notch, the food was delectable, and they even gave us a free dessert for 2 year wedding anniversary! Our waitress was lovely, so sweet and accommodating. We had a table with a gorgeous view. The only thing was anytime someone opened the door it shot a blast of cold air on us, haha. But didn’t impact our experience at all. 10/10 evening!

We ordered 2 servings of the rocky mountain oysters, they were awful. As a matter of fact we left some un-eaten, which never happens. It appears, to save money, you are cutting them so tiny, over coated and over fried, they were awful. The service was fair. Understaffed over worked. Unfortunately, the service and price will keep me from going back. We had a party of 7, one from out of state.

The Fort is an eclectic restaurant that brings a modern flair to original Colorado cuisine. I appreciate the artistic license this restaurant takes with some old school recipes. A definitely place to take a new Colorado visitor. A little pricey, but you are paying for a high end experience. A good recommend
