Excellent dinner options in the heart of the Loop. Often overlooked as it is on the 2nd floor of the Marriott and not noticeable from street level. Great spot for after lunch or work dinner, before a show or for business.

Food was fantastic. I had the daily special, seafood pappardelle and tiramisu. Service was good, attentive (although it was Thursday night so not as busy). Would definitely go back.

The restaurant is in a very comfortable and attractive room decorated with items that are reminiscent of Florence, Italy. I have been to this restaurant four or five times, most recently for brunch on Sunday. It is the perfect environment to meet a friend or friends for conversation - comfortable booths and widely separated tables, as well as a bar. The service is attentive and efficient. Since it is a hotel restaurant, the breakfast items are typical. This time I ordered a waffle. The service was luxurious - a small pitcher of whipped cream, a large dish of lingonberries, and a small container of maple syrup. Unfortunately the waffles were very plain and did not seem to incorporate the malted flavor that was described on the menu. However, I have eaten their egg items, and they have been very good.

We had reservations for (4) and added a 5th person last minute. The entire staff was very helpful and accommodated this change by providing a newly set up location. The food was delicious, and timely as always.

The portions of the food were very small for the prices. we waited hours for our appetizer to come, even though everyone around us were receiving their food.

It was awful. I never had a waiter so reckless. I went with my girlfriend, and the waiter asked what was the occasion keep in mind it was Valentine’s Day. I dont know if he was trying to be funny but he said is it a mom and daughter occasion. So I started to think do I really look that old. I didn’t complain because I didn’t want to make a scene in front of my girlfriend. But I just ruined my night. That never happened to be before.

Awful avoid - food was disgusting . We ordered the lobster pasta no lobster was seen and the food was overly salty and tiramisu wasn’t tiramisu it had filo pastry . AVOID

What a great evening out on a cold night in January! I learned last night the kitchen staff are all working chefs, meaning they are the ones doing the cooking not line cooks. Check them out! They are not just another restaurant in a hotel.

Good service from the server but the manager was rude and couldn’t handle problem solving in a calm manner. We had trouble with cards being declined and instead of being patient she referred to us as “broke kids” to other employees. We came to this establishment to have a good evening yet we’re faced with little to no customer service when a payment issue came up. She struggled to come up with a solution using simple math. We had to figure it out using calculators on our phones. And while we’re doing this she tells us they’re closing and that we need to leave.

The food was great but no one told us that the restaurant was closing at 9 and I made my reservations at 8, offered us a bottle of wine, then the appetizers came at the same time as the main course, the wine the check and we felt rushed out, came back to the hotel with food that we couldn’t finish and half of a bottle of an overpriced wine. Not a great experience.

The ceaser salad with chicken was, at best, poor. It had too little dressing, and the chicaken was chewy. I have had good things here, but the salad was a big miss!

Very nice staff. However the food is not the same as it was before the pandemic. I ordered my go-to lunch favourite: the grilled chicken panini. It used to be so good, but yesterday it was tough and chewy. Not fresh at all. Must have been microwaved.

absolutely beautiful, excellent service and food. There was however two very drunk groups which had been in the restaurant for 7 hours. They were yelling and swearing and very disrespectful. No one asked them to calm down and be quiet

I can see having a drink after work, but the food is truly not good. Pizza crust was so soggy. Mediocre and overhyped corn bread with a crazy table preparation. However, excellent service and good location for lyric opera.

Our waiter was not attentive. He seemed uninterested in two women who didn't order drinks or appetizers (though we did order desserts). The pasta pomodoro, served in a deep bowl, was difficult to eat...to cut the pasta instead of looping endless strands around a spoon. and fork. The linguine all Vongole was so small a portion (for $36.00!) that I thought it was a complimentary amuse-bouche when it was delivered.

Just got drinks and dessert before a show. The Tiramisu was surprisingly real dry and lacked coffee flavor. The banana cake was great though.

Restaurant was half full, we waited 20 minutes at the table and nobody came to even offer us water, which is ok for a cheap restaurant, not this one that has $160 steaks

My party of 6 arrived around 5 on a Saturday night, we were seated right away. Our drink orders were taken and some of us received our drinks right away, others took 20-30 minutes for drink to arrive. Food and desserts were delicious and good portion sizes. Overall, we would not go back. Waiting 30 minutes for a drink and an hour between ordering dessert and being served was unacceptable.
