We had a nice dinner at the Finch the other night. We always enjoy their food and service, and this time was no exception. We especially enjoyed the salmon entrée.

Brunch menu was terrific. We had first seating at 10am. Had the donut holes, shrimp and grits, pot roast hash, and roasted herb chicken. All meats came out perfectly. Donuts were hot, shrimp were tender and fresh. Only disappointing part was we didn't see our server very much, coffee mugs wound up empty a few times, and we might have had libations as the morning was going very smoothly.

Food was excellent! We started with cocktails and the tzatziki and pita, each ordered something different for dinner - filet mignon (cooked perfectly, yummy Demi-glaze, subbed brussel sprouts instead of mashed potato’s, wonderful!), Cajun chicken pasta (lots of food! Spicyyyy, but hit the spot), and the Greek salad with chicken (very good). Wish the dessert menu was a bit more diverse - we wanted dessert but didn’t love the options. AC was busted, so it was VERY hot inside; feel like they should have told us that as we were being seated. Cute place, we went early so wasn’t super busy.

I tried Chicken and Waffles for the first time and really enjoyed it! My husband got the French Dip and it was excellent as well. The manager, Anthony, ended up helping us and he was great. Very attentive. I'll be back!

The handmade lemon drop martinis were fabulous! Although the initial wait for our server to come to the table was a little longer than expected, the rest of the experience was good. We both had the chicken from the brunch menu, excellent meal. We also ordered the french toast. While the french toast did taste good, it was a little on the drier side. I will return.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our anniversary! The patio was just perfect and just an enjoyable evening! The oysters are so good and wedge salads are the best! Definitely a fun place to dine!

Shrimp scampi Pasta was delicious. Everything else was mediocre. We had gone to brunch with family earlier in the day in another restaurant and the welcome ambiance and recognition of greeting and celebrating Mother’s Day at the finch did not exist at all. We were a bigger party and it felt like we needed to be out of the way and outside. We miscounted in our reservation and instead of 10 people it was 11 so when I requested to add another section to fit more comfortably the host said they couldn’t because they had more parties. So we went our entire dining experience right and watching an empty patio around us because there were no other parties.
