Voted "The Best Newcomer" restaurant at the recent May 2023 Food Reader Awards, The Farm Table is all about taking food off the farm & into the fire, celebrating the simplicity of beautiful ingredients grown, reared, caught & crafted on our doorstep.

We aim to get as much from our farm onto your table as possible and if it’s not from our farm it’s from our vibrant community of like-minded artisan food producers, farmers & fisherman who share our passion.

Open everyday 12pm-3pm for lunch and evenings on Thursday, Friday & Saturday 6pm-9pm

Exeter University Graduation 2024 - open for lunch and evenings from Monday 15th - Saturday 20th July for graduation celebrations.

    Lovely meal, very tasty, good quality food. Only criticism, way too much salt on the chips. A Salt shaker is available on the table to use so please let people salt their own chips to their liking. At £4 a portion, my husband didn't eat all of his due to excess salt taste. Apart from that it was a really good meal and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

    Went for a family lunch and there was something for everyone on the menu, staff were all very helpful and pleasant

    Food was exquisite, the setting was gorgeous and the staff were brilliant and very knowledgeable. A hidden gem. We will be back!

    I can't recommend the pizzas enough - such good value for money and delicious. This would have been a 5* review if it had not been for a couple of minor issues. Kitchen staff (chefs) need to be made aware that they work in an open plan kitchen, meaning diners can hear what they're saying, including negative comments. We heard one in relation to a request we made which did change our perception of the restaurant professionalism. We had ordered 2 pizzas and 2 sides - the pizzas were brought out promptly, but the waitress put them down and left so quickly we didn't get a chance to ask for sauces. After an additional 5 minute wait, the sides arrived and then we were asked if we'd like any condiments.

    Our waitress was superb, giving advice on the food and was patient when we took a while deciding - she was great fun. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced.

    Absolutely loved it. Food and service were top notch. Ambience and decor perfect, smart yet relaxing. Will definitely come back. Can’t wait to try the pizza.

    Always happy staff and environment. Food was nice but Sunday roast seemed to very over done. Veg and potatoes were soggy. Not the best.

    Great food and fantastic service from our waitress. Friendly and helpful and very accommodating of our friend who is gluten intolerant. Kitchen went above and beyond to make sure she didn’t feel left out of having a proper Sunday roast.
