Went for Mother's Day and The Eagle just never disappoints. My husband hates going downtown but gave in because of the holiday and he loved every bit of food he ate!!!

Top notch! We came here for Mother's Day. We had a reservation and were seated upon arrival. Our service was outstanding! Our server refilled our drinks prior to asking - that is hard to find these days. The food was amazing! We will be back! Thank you to The Eagle for giving us a memorable Mother's Day!

The food was very good. Especially the chicken. The spoon bread was more cornbread than anything. Try the spoon bread at Boone Tavern, Berea KY. That’s spoon bread. We’ll be back.

Great place to eat in Cincinnati. Outside seating on a nice day was awesome. Chicken is the best ever.

Service was outstanding and The Eagle is a pretty good value, but the food was mixed. My dark meat oder was very good but my partner's white meat breast was dry. We both would have liked a crisper skin, but it was still good. The atmosphere indoors is sports bar basic. We had four side dishes that we would order again. There is a good beer list and our Bloody Mary's were excellent, quite large, and a value @1$12 each. The Eagle is fine for lunch or a reasonablly priced but not particularly special dinner or for a casual group outing.

Delicious cuisine! Homecooked favorites made for a great night for a father-daughter date ahead of a Broadway production. Appreciate the attentive staff and the high quality of food at The Eagle.

Surpringly just so so. My 1/4 chicken white piece was as expected but her’s was not and some odd piece you’d expect to find at KFC. The spoon bread was eh and the sweet potatoes overdone. The Sonder beer was spot on. Oh well not sure I’ll make The Eagle a priority.

Callie was our server and did a very good job. We got the 1/4 chicken ( white meat) it was excellent and the hot 🥵 honey 🍯 very tasty. Appetizer spicey pulled chicken dip with chips is good. Also got small salads and they are excellent. Full of veggies . Haven't tried the sides yet ,but tables next to us were eating and they looked delicious. Will try the next time. Great job !!

Chef salad half portion was delicious and big! Saved half for lunch the next day. 1/4 chicken white meat delicious and moist. Service was very good. Will visit again!

Another excellent dining experience. THE EAGLE-OTR doesn't disappoint. The best Chicken, hands down. Beers were cold and tasty. Service was spot on. In fact, our table was ready 10 minutes early. Already looking forward to another return visit.

The food was delicious. Our server was very attentive and provided great recommendations. The portions were abundant and the taste was perfection. I highly recommend the Eagle and will continue to return and try more items on the menu. The Mac n Cheese was fabulous.

What an delicious find on Open Table! The Eagle had a great vibe yet was quiet enough to have a conversation with friends. In these times of people cutting down on eating out, The Eagle provided great value for the cost. I love the side dishes which our table shared. My only mirror complaint is that several people (not just our server) kept trying to remove our plates while we were still eating. I wouldn't have mentioned it if it had just happened once or twice. It was relentless. Nonetheless, I would return, and look forward to it.

We visited on a very crowded night because of several sports events in town. They still managed to seat us within 5 minutes of or reservation time. The service was attentive and the chicken was really delicious! Moist and very flavorful. It was as good as I was hoping for!

We have always had a great meal here and the service is always so good. The chicken is crispy and moist, the spoonbread melts in your mouth. Highly recommend.

We shared fried chicken, horseradish mashed potatoes, spoon bread, and sweet potatoes. All were very good! We will definitely be back! I docked one star simply due to the need to effectively share a table with another couple. I get that space is limited and more people means more money but having made a reservation I was a little surprised that our "table" was effectively half a table with a small divider with another couple using the other half of the table. There's enough background noise to make conversation mostly private but you are immediately faced with a choice between awkwardly avoiding eye contact all evening or making new friends. lol The half table is a bit tight for two people's food and drinks as well. Overall, though, this is a minor detractor that just surprised me. It won't keep us from returning.

Amazing meal, as always. Chicken and sides were hot, meal came out quick, and even though they were busy, our server paid great attention to us and refilled our drinks as soon as we needed it. Definitely a great place to go if you’re looking for a solid meal.

The table right by the host station is a horrible spot for a table! Never sat there before and I never want too again. Being that close to the host station is super uncomfortable and loud and that table should be removed it doesn't offer a pleasant dinning experience. Especially with carry out orders and employees grabbing plates and napkins to Reset tables it was very disturbing and by far the worst experience I've had at the eagle. Food was alright but had chicken was super greasy like it was cooked in old grease.

First time here--- foods very tasty. Service was very good/ friendly. D Didn't have any fried chicken but table next to us were eating and it looked delicious! And they said it was very good! Will return and try it next time. Sides looked delicious too ! Mac n cheese Sweet potatoes --- yummy! Spicey chicken queso dip/ chips --- good Salads very good 👍

We had a great lunch experience. Parking was available within the block. Server, Tyler was excellent! Chicken BLT was huge and delicious. (Everyone took half home.). For those not fond of chicken - the grilled cheese was unique and hit the spot with the preserves. Don’t miss out on the Mac & cheese. Large enough to share among the 4 of us. We will return- hopefully soon.
