We start with free range, all-natural chicken. It’s brined, dredged, then dropped into custom-built fryers. It's got a little kick and is served with our house-made hot honey. But we don't stop there - Southern-style sides grace our menu, craft beer flows through our taps, and Blues music pumps through our speakers. At The Eagle, it's all about flying right, eating bird, and curing the Blues.

This was the second time my boyfriend and I came to this restaurant and the food is amazing. My boyfriend is a fried chicken connoisseur and he loves their chicken…Lol

Wow!!! The food was amazing. Don't eat there without trying the sides. The spoon bread is fantastic. Grits, Mac and cheese, potatoes, hush puppies all extremely tasty 😋. Chicken is great and the grilled cheese is a treat. The service was top notch. Beer and drink selections are plentiful. I personally think this is the best restaurant of this kind in Detroit.

A very frustrating experience. We booked a reservation, and received a confirmation email and text. When we showed up to the restaurant, there was a sign on the door that said they had to close for the day. I wish they would have contacted us since we had a reservation and they had our information. We had to scramble to find somewhere else for dinner before our concert.

The first time I came here great experience and food and because of this I decided to bring my mom and nieces. When we arrived at our reservation time at 3pm they had a note on the door stating they were closed for lunch. Then someone came to the door stating they were closed during lunch and we had to come back at 4pm. Did not receive any heads up. Decided to wait until 4pm but once 4pm came and we got back to the restaurant they now said there closing for the day and still did not receive a notice while waiting an hour. I am so upset and disappointed. Customer service 0/10 this is unacceptable.

Found food in my hair and the staff tried to cheat me out of $11 on my bill. I was told I would receive a comp for the hair found in the food costing $10, when I received the bill I was charged 2x ($20) for the item with one reduction (-$10). As a result, I had to go back and forth with management for a resolution to ensure that my bill would be accurate. Once I finally received the right bill the staff then cheated me out of an additional $1 on my bill. The food at the restaurant is average I was thoroughly disappointed in how how I cheated twice in one setting.

First time there and can't wait to go back ! Never had tasted such great fried chicken ! Mac & cheese was fabulous , biscuits amazing . Love the atmosphere . Staff were great very friendly ! We will be back ! And bringing our friends !
