We had a great experience. You will definitely want reservations for dinner. It was very loud which made it hard to have a conversation or hear our server. Good and service was excellent.

Delicious! The Guinness Beef stew was some of the best I have had since being in Ireland. The beef and Guinness pie was just as delicious. We I’ll go back again next time we are in Boston.

The Dubliner has been on our list of places to check out for a while. Unfortunately, the whole experience was just okay. Service was initially fast and attentive, but got busy towards the end of our meal. My wife and I shared the beef and Guinness pie and the shepherds pie. Both were under seasoned and the side of mashed potatoes tasted like it was possibly instant. Food wasn’t terrible, but was forgettable.

3 had roast which had a lot of meat but lacked potatoes and veg. The plates were full of meat and no color of veg! Meat tasted ok! Irish breakfast was very good! Plenty of food and tasted perfectly fine!

Full Irish breakfast was delicious and on point, sausages were delicious, eggs were amazing. Would live to see some Irish butter for the toast. The house smoked salmon Benedict was amazing. Coffees/ espressos and teas for 5 were mad hot. Bloody Mary was great. Service was great, atmosphere is what just you'd expect for an Irish pub with ManU v. Arsenal on the screens - lively and convivial!! Sat in a cozy space just off the bar. Will be back to sample the Sunday roasts! Kudos to the Donegal - owner for creating a classic Irish pub!

Great food and good atmosphere. Service was very slow but I think that was due to not having enough people on staff. This is something taht is not uncommon these days among other restauarnts as well. I will definelty be back.

Have enjoyed the Dubliner numerous times- this was our first ‘meh’ experience. Service was slow and inattentive, (had to ask several times for utensils even after the food came) and both our meals were 1/2 wrong. The Chips were soggy and barely warm, but since we’d ordered ‘skinny fries’ with our haddock, they were even less appealing. Fish was superbly fresh and light, hot and crispy and delicious, as always. It’s what we come back for. No Kilkenny or Smithwicks on tap- big bummer! Overall, not bad, but not great. I know they can do better!

We were seated in a tiny sequestered section away from the open restaurant with a group of 4 guys who were loud and obnoxious as they watched the Bruins game. We were disappointed that we couldn’t see the nice surroundings in the main restaurant. The smoked fish cake was mainly mashed potato with no discernible fish. Wouldn’t order that again. Chowder was really tasty though.

Two of the dishes we ordered - Fish & Chips and Chicken Curry were excellent! The Salmon Risotto, however, was a big disappointment. The fish lacked flavor. The risotto was mushy. The service we received was excellent!

Best pub food in downtown, by far! Never had a bad dish, and the fish & chips and the vegetarian shepherd's pie are wonderful. And great staff. Can be very loud in the bar area. PS-- Please bring back the Dublin coddle!

We were hoping to enjoy a nice Irish pub in Boston. We had reservations. Upon entering, we were overwhelmed by standing room only due to 20+ year olds meeting for after work drinks. The noise was overwhelming. We had to push our way through to get to our table and were seated at a corner table. We were unable to converse at the table to one another, and had to point to the menu to place our order with our server. They had live Irish musicians, but we were unable to hear them over the crowd. Food was just average. Wish we had left and gone somewhere else for dinner.

We had a great time. Fish and chips were delicious and the teenagers loved the burgers. I wouldn’t suggest this for families with younger kids as it is a bar so bar language can be heard but it was lively and we enjoyed our meal.

Dublin’s serves great English food with an Irish twist. My Wednesday Lunch Club regularly meets for a great meal and conversation. Tucking away a lot of tables means noise levels are kept low and conversation across a table for 8 is easily accomplished. Just be sure if you are greater than a foursome for lunch that you make a reservation. It’s popular, of course, and large tables taken quickly.

Great meal on a very crowded night! Portions are huge, but everything is freshly prepared and delicious. The night we were there was very crowded and noisy, but the waitstaff was terrific and very professional. We would have preferred no sports tv in the dining room, but at least they didn’t have the sound on.

Great experience! The ambience is very nice, and the service is good. They seated us in a more private space, which was awesome since we had guests with their kids, and they even provided us with a kids' menu. Definitely will return.

This place knows how to pour a Guinness! The food was excellent ((fish and chips and the burger). We went on a night the Celtics were playing so it was very busy but the service was excellent. Recommended!

It’s a Thursday leading up to St Patrick’s day weekend, so lots of people and noise. Very loud. But it was a great experience. Live music. Food was outstanding (first time having vegetarian shepherds pie and it was nothing short of spectacular), and the beer and drinks were delish. Definitely a great spot, fun ambiance and overall great time. Will ensure we come back whenever visiting Boston.

I made a reservation for dinner and the entertainment, but we were seated in the restaurant away from the entertainment. The hostess didn't really greet us, but took our name and led us to our table. She wasn't unfriendly, but didn't seem to want to be there. Being the week before St. Patrick's Day the restaurant was super packed. Probably too packed with people waiting for tables or just hanging out. Our waitress was friendly and the food was delicious; especially the Fish & Chips. Drinks were great too, pricey, but that is expected in Boston. There was some miscommunication about getting one of our unfinished dishes packed up to take home, but I think it was because I misunderstood what our waitress said because it was so loud in the restaurant. She kindly had another dish made for us to take home. The live Irish music and step dancing was a nice added bonus; we went into that bar room after eating dinner in the restaurant.

The Dubliner has been recommended by friends and family as the owner is from Donegal and all gave accolades. We had no idea when we booked to meet friends for brunch before doing the Winterexperience that it was the Six Nations Rugby tournament. Our server was wonderful and the food was great. As the Ireland-England came was approaching crowds of people, literally hanging over tables jammed every inch of the restaurant to the point it felt unsafe and was almost impossible to get to the restroom or the exit. We have gone to many pubs to watch games but have never seen the dining areas so overfilled from the bar. We will be sure to check the game schedule before we would return.
