We offer seating in 3 spaces,, including our Bar/Lounge, Dining Room/Chef’s Counter or Intimate fire-wall enclosed Patio. Due to space considerations, please contact us directly for larger tables of 6 or more guests.
Live entertainment is performed nightly on the main stage in our Dining Room. Tables are by reservation only, for dinner. Hours of Music; Su/M/Tu, 5:30-9:30pm Wed/Thu 6-10pm Fr/Sa 6:30-10:30pm.
All Tables in Main Room or Patio, Th/Fr/Sa, are subject to a $10 per person Live music charge, on top of dinner tab. Our dynamic musical line-up of Jazz, R&B, Soul & Contemporary artists, provides an interactive yet intimate experience, in an elegant yet relaxed setting.
The Drake features New American cuisine prepared by Award Winning Chef team Paul & Nick Gstrein. Seasonal offerings encompass an ever-evolving menu of unique small plates, steaks, chops, fresh seafood & desserts. Our curated Wine & Spirits selections serve to enhance the dining experience.

My girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to an evening of jazz and fine dining, and boy did The Drake deliver! When we arrived and were greeted with a welcoming smile by the valet then to even more smiles by the hostesses, I knew that we were going to be in good hands. We arrived on time so we were seated right away. You could feel the energy in the restaurant as we were being escorted to our table. I did my homework beforehand on what to order, as I usually do, so we were ready to cut to the chase. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water to share and I ordered my girlfriend an excellent glass of Pinot Noir, which she loved. The lamb lollipops were cooked perfectly to a medium rare, seasoned well and tasted delicious! The beet salad was very tasty and the serving size was plenty for two. The halibut and venison entrees were as wonderful as advertised. The chocolate parfait and the salted caramel bundini were so decadent and definitely satisfied our craving for something sweet. And the perfectly made double espresso with foamed milk was the icing on the cake. Even though there’s a two hour time limit, we never felt hurried or rushed to order or close out our bill, as the pacing of the meal allowed us to relax and enjoy the evening. Finally the service was excellent and I really admired how attentive the staff were to all of the guests. They worked really well together as a team and pitched in wherever needed. Special kudos to our server, Emily, who was sweeter than our desserts! Thank you for a memorable evening! P.S. - The jazz quartet who were performing this evening were outstanding!

The Drake is normally a great experience but this evening was a tremendous disappointment. We had out of town guests who really wanted to enjoy the music and food but our server made it a truly negative and embarrassing experience for us. Our server, Taylor began the evening with a great introduction but very quickly gave his attention to other tables and primarily the single ladies. He never checked on us following our meal delivery, never asked if we would like a second drink. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unexpected at The Drake or any establishment where patrons are paying for full dining experience and anticipation of excellent service. We spoke to the hostess on our way out but I don’t believe she took us seriously nor provided any conciliatory words.

This was one of the best dinners I've had in years. We enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, delicious drinks and amazing food. For an aperitif, we ordered tuna tartare; it was tender tuna flesh cut into small pieces with a delicious sauce and a slight taste of Wasabi. Main courses were jasmine rice with salmon and venison loin with potatoes and goat cheese. The combination of ingredients and flavors was amazing and we enjoyed it until the very last bite. I recommend visiting this place especially if you want something special

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Drake in Laguna Beach, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! Nestled in a charming location, The Drake offers an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere that perfectly complements its exquisite menu. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure we had a memorable evening. The service was impeccable, striking a perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation. The food at The Drake is nothing short of spectacular. We started with the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

Great date night restaurant. Even thought it was a crowded Saturday night, they went out of their way for us, offering us 3 seating choices because the jazz quartet is sometimes loud. It was our wedding anniversary, which I had noted on the reservation, and they comped us a delicious dessert with no fuss -- we didn't even ask. 5 out of 5
