Inspired by the British coastline and countryside, Executive Chef Ryan Lister is excited to bring a taste of his culinary roots to downtown Toronto. We came here to celebrate a milestone birthday as a group of 4. We dined upstairs which had an elegant, bright and charming atmosphere. Service was excellent. Overall a great experience! A couple minor blemishes on the experience include a small mistake on the bill because of happy hour pricing, but this was quickly rectified. There was no window shade to block the late afternoon sun but hopefully this will be installed soon.

Wonderful service, and perhaps the second best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life — coming from Plymouth in the UK, where we have award-winning fish & chips, this is high praise.

Resturant is beautiful. Food looks great but flavours are lacking and not balanced. Waygu tartare was one of the worst tartares in the city. Cocktails took forever to come out and were not accurate to the descriptions on menu. Waitress was very much well below average in her service, didn't know much about the menu and made many mistakes with zero acknowledgement- we had to flag down other staff for things we ordered and never received. Overall I would not recommend spending any money here unless you want to see cute decor and interior design.

I came mid-afternoon and sat at the bar. There were no other patrons at the bar at the time. The bartender was very busy. He hardly interacted with me during my visit. The non-alcoholic drink was mediocre. The fish and chips were not especially flavourful. The dining room was spectacular.

Elevated English cuisine, was amazing! My guests who had the salmon commented on it being extremely soft and flavorful, and the desserts were very good as well: rhubart custard tart definitely stole the show.

I went to The Dorset with my two sisters for one of their birthdays and had a great experience. We will definitely be back there soon!

We were wowed by the decor and then wowed by the menu, which made it hard to choose what we would order because we wanted everything! The food was so delicious and we enjoyed our brunch.
