The Doonan offers the ultimate alfresco dining experience, enjoy an Italian-inspired menu among lush gardens. Nestled in the scenic Noosa hinterland on 2-hectares just a stone's throw from famous local beaches; The Doonan boasts indoor and outdoor dining, a pizzeria, ice creamery, bars, beer gardens, a cellar door, multiple function spaces and a large outdoor kids playground, coming soon.

Oozing with character and charm, the venue is more like a plant nursery than a hotel. With striking architecture covered in greenery and decorated with exposed brick, The Doonan is a wonderland for the senses.

    Lovely venue, great food and staff. My only feedback is that limiting bookings of 10 or more people to 2 hours is not practical. By the time you sit down, order drinks and food there isn't a lot of time for tables this size. The time allowance should be catered to the size of the booking regardless of the venue wanting to fit multiple sittings in.

    Absolutely enjoyed my evening at the Doonan pub. Would highly recommend visiting the Doonan pub!

    What a fantastic dining experience! The ambience of The Doonan is great, it would be my local if I lived in the vicinity. Staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating and always smiling, couldn’t rate this place more 10/10

    We had a great work dinner, food was amazing, atmosphere was very relaxed but 2 hours was just not long enough

    Food was great. But the service was terrible. Our drinks took so long that they came after everyone had finished eating. I was surprised at a venue like this that there is no table service.

    We went for a birthday celebration, a party of 8 adults and 2 children aged 11 & 2. The children had a fantastic time playing while we chatted. the food was good and came out in good time. The setting is just beautiful amongst the foliage and fairy lights. Couldn’t fault it.
