    Why bother and reserve a table online if when we arrive the requested table is not reserved?

    The view was quite good and the terrace was well decorated. We got the pancake experience for breakfast, which was average—nothing overly special taste-wise. The same goes for the milkshakes; I’ve had far better in restaurants in the UK. Pancakes at Bill's are the same if not slightly better, with a wider variety. We felt like the service was poor. The service in the UK at local pub restaurants, or in fact, everywhere we have eaten in Italy for the past few weeks, has been better. We have dined in higher-end and cheaper restaurants, and all have been better. We were wearing our casual clothing due to moving about a lot in the heat that day and felt like we were judged and not receiving the same service treatment as others due to our clothes. It gave the impression that just because we didn’t have our fancy, higher-end clothes on, it was an instant indicator that we didn’t have “that sort of money” to eat there, or something to that effect. It is very disappointing to receive poor service considering the price you pay; you would expect it to be better. You could receive better food, far better service, and still a good view of the Duomo, although not a rooftop experience, elsewhere in Milan.

    Excelente servicio! Me tuve que quedar trabajando toda la tarde y no tuvieron problema, es mas me dieron una mesa con enchufes cerca y me atendieron de 10!

    Value for money very low. Very small portion, trap for tourists, despite of being a pretty place.

    Beautiful venue, lovely food but terrible service. We were celebrating a birthday which we wrote in the notes when we booked the table weeks ago on Open Table. They brought out cake and sparklers, and the happy birthday song for so many people throughout the night, but not us. Our food came out quickly but then no one came to check how it was, then as soon as one of us finished a meal they whisked the plate out from under us. Once the plates had gone, they didn’t ask if we wanted another drink and left us sat there with empty glasses for nearly an hour. We tried to catch their eyes so many times but they were too busy wiping tables and avoiding our gaze, eventually we flagged someone down and ordered more cocktails but again these took over 30 minutes and we had to remind someone else. We felt really ignored and like they were looking after everyone else. The bill was suddenly brought to us, and they’d added €6 service charge, when paying we asked for this to be removed because we hadn’t had amazing service but were told this was the fee for napkins and cutlery?! What the hell! Stunning views, amazing food, should have been a real treat for my birthday but the staff hugely let it down. We felt like we were inconveniencing them.
