My friend and I had a great experience at The Davidson. Our waiter, CJ, was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great suggestions. The fondue appetizer was a big hit. I highly suggest the chicken and scallop entrees. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Overall loved our experience. The food and drinks that we had were excellent. The noise level was a little on the loud side and made it difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. We will definitely be back!

Very simply put, this incredible location (ambiance, view, vibe) deserves so much more. The food is very basic and unispiring, the offerings are mediocre at its best. And, with no desserts to choose from, my wife was immediately turned off. We wound up going next door to complete the evening and thoroughly enjoyed our after meal dessert experience at Ruby's.

Great dinner. Arrived early and sat at the bar. Delicious cocktails, and a recommendation to try the eggplant appetizer. Great presentation and amazing taste. Service was great at dinner, food was delicious and overall lovely night. Will return!

The food and service were very good. Eggplant appetizer was delicious and unique. My only complaint is that the tables in parts of the restaurant are too close together. When the waitress is serving the tables next to you on either side her rear end is literally right in your face. Not very appetizing. I said something to the manager and his attitude was “0oh well”. It would be nice if they served dessert.

New spot hits a sweet spot with a contemporary casual atmosphere that is unpretentious while serving upscale, imaginative dishes and creative cocktails. The roasted vegetable salad was unique and delicious and the scallop entree generously portioned and complete with vegetables etc included. Will definitely be back.

We started with the clams casino which were amazing and perfectly crispy, then moved onto the roasted vegetable salad which was fresh and lite. For entrees were shared the roasted tomato cannelloni and the scallops grenobloise. Both were better then we could have imagined

The service was great and the entrées and appetizers were very well prepared. However, I wish you had told me the veal was breaded and I would’ve ordered something different. We are glad we had the opportunity to try your new restaurant however, we thought Peep and Deloris was better

Wonderful time out for our anniversary! Excellent service, the staff were very hospitable and made the experience that much better. Will be returning for sure!

This is probably my 5th time at The Davidson in the brief time it has been open and as usual the food was outstanding and a great value. Service was a bit below previous visits but ok. The problem was NOISE. The restaurant is loud just with the dim of patrons' conversation but to add a thunderous (no pun intended Thunderdome) beat backdrop makes it very difficult to talk, at least in the part of the restaurant in which we were seated. Probably 40+ years ago some consultant said music in a restaurant increses sales. Now many restaurants, not just this one, seem to think "more-is-better". Maybe it gets heavy drinkers into a party mood, but it sure doesn't work for fine dining. I chose to skip the nice sauterne after dinner. I have to reiterate however that the food is great and a great value.

Delightfully experience from the moment we arrived for our 8:30 reservation. We were seated in a charming booth, and although the restaurant was quite busy, we could easily carry on a conversation. We started with cocktails, their version of a gin and tonic and an old fashioned, which were imaginative and delightful. The wine list is small but high quality. We choose a French Pinot Noir. Our waitress was attentive, vivacious and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, prepared to perfection with a nice presentation. The wine went well with our meal. We could not have asked for a better evening. I highly recommend The Davidson.

Food and service are the stars at The Davidson. This was our first visit to this relatively new restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Four diners each ordered something different and all were exceptional. Each was an inventive take on a classic fare. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The Davidson is on our short list of fine dining establishments.

I absolutely LOVE The Davidson. This is my boyfriend and I's favorite dinner spot. It's perfect for a date night and a girls' night. The cannelloni is my favorite pasta, absolutely amazing. The sauce is perfect! The mashed potatoes are also our favorite. Could not go here without getting them. We tried the Yellowfin Tuna crudo last night, and it was fantastic!

We had a great time dining there. The atmosphere was great! My husband had the burger which he said was really good. I had the Italian chopped salad which was great and the vongole spaghetti which was honestly not very impressive, the main flavor was just spicy and didn’t have much taste aside from heat. It was a bit bland. Also had a G&T and that cocktail was delicious!

The food, wine and service (Levi) were excellent. The Moroccan eggplant and all entrees were delicious (pork chop, steak, chicken and veal). I’d suggest that they offer a Dessert Course which we would have liked. I also believe they should improve the bathrooms. Then it would be a 5 star experience.

Wonderful from beginning to end! Beautiful space with fantastic service and food. Levi was our server and he is top notch. Great wine recommendation - a perfect rose' for a warm evening. The Mushroom bisque was one of the reasons for choosing The Davidson and it did not disappoint. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

From the greeting at the door to the end of our meal everything was top notch. The bartender was attentive and made superb cocktails. The martini is delicious and the freshly stuffed olives were perfect. Our clam appetizer was wonderful and the eggplant as well. Dinner was wonderful and our server made excellent recommendations. To top it off, we were celebrating an anniversary and they brought out complimentary Prosecco for a toast! We will definitely return!

Always impressed the food quality and service of the Thunderdome Group. The Davidson is no exception. Great food and wine selection….nice outside dining location!! We plan to return soon.

The food and service were fabulous. This was our 2nd time there and we brought a couple that had not been there before. We all loved everything we tried from drinks, appetizers and entrees. The only negative of the night was how uncomfortably hot the room was. It took away from the overall experience.

Our party of four had a great dining experience on a Friday night. Everything we ordered was delicious - cocktails, appetizers and entrees. The service was stellar as well. I look forward to returning soon!

The Davidson is a great option for dining in the business district near Fountain Square. We shared the carpaccio, clams casino, tuna tartare cones, and seared yellowfin Nicoise salad. The dishes were all very delicious and packed with flavor, except for perhaps the Nicoise salad. The portion of yellowfin seemed very small, and I think the three prior courses were so delicious that our palates were blown out by the time we had the more delicate salad. We also enjoyed that we could pay with the inKind app.

The Davidson is a gem in the heart of Cincinnati!!! Premiere dining delivered at a reasonable price. The service was phenomenal, presentation of the food was fantastic and the unique flavor was delicious. I had the Scallops Grenobloise and it was amazing, tried a bite of the medallions which was also delicious. Can not wait to get back to try everything else on the menu. Great experience and atmosphere!

Terrific birthday experience for my wife. Received complimentary toast, and greeted her with birthday wishes. Server CJ was attentive, scallops and rigatoni were excellent! Nice music played; two thumbs up!

Nice addition to the fountain square area. Cool looking space and nice menu. Food was good, service was spotty and could use more help. Waiters were in the weeds. The cocktails were small for the price. Wine menu was ok. I’ll try it again.

We really enjoyed the food. The table was narrow and felt tight with appetizers we ordered to share. My husband felt rushed by our waitress. She said we should order everything at once and she would bring them accordingly. Our appetizers came out right after our drinks were served so we could not enjoy our drinks before eating.

Everything we had was fantastic. The grilled eggplant appetizer is not to be missed. Warning: the “Palomino” mushroom bisque, meant to evoke the delicious version of the now gone Palomino is good, but does not taste at all like the original. The scallops and rigatoni were both perfectly prepared. Ambience is lively but can be a bit loud for dinner conversation on a weekend night
