The Cutwater on Payette Lake is a place for friends and families to connect and celebrate life with carefully crafted food and drinks. This is a restaurant unlike any other in McCall. Guests of all ages will enjoy indoor/outdoor seating (seasonal), a vibrant 2,000-gallon saltwater fish tank, analog game room and simply delicious fare on the shores of Payette Lake. The Cutwater on Payette Lake offers year-round breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

We had the best food! The French dip was just perfect in every way. The salmon BLT was also off the charts yummy.

Reserved Mother’s Day brunch and immediately received test messages confirming and then further reminders with confirmation request. We arrived 1 hour early as we happen to be already close by and decided to check in, maybe a table would be available! The hostess received us kindly and said sure let me check and found us a beautiful front room table near the window with a breath taking view of the lake and beautiful snow topped mountains. It was just perfect! Service was excellent and the Eggs Benedict was just perfect. No sense of being rushed but I did keep an I on the reception area to give up our table if needed. Overall a very pleasant dining experience and will return to try their dinner menu. Highly recommend this restaurant 😀

Horrible and slow service is the norm at the Cutwater. Waited 30 minutes for coffee.

Staying at the lodge and ate here first night. Very friendly, attentive service and food was very good. Very nice views of Payette Lake.

Great food, service, and beautiful view. Very nice that they are open to public! Non pretentious. Amazing log features. Started with great Cater Lake Espresso Cocktail at The Bar above. We will be back!

We’ve eaten here at least a dozen times while staying at the lodge. The food is good generally. But on this occasion my 8 year old ordered the buffalo wings. They were unreasonably spicy. He ate a couple then had to go back to our room to drink some milk. I tried them and agreed. I let our server know about the issue. I think she should have taken this item off our bill. Other than that the service was excellent.
