The Courtyard Kitchen is located in a historic landmark building on Montana Ave, Santa Monica. Full of old world charm, the brick paved open air courtyard, bistro style tables, lush greenery are combining the flair of the old world magic with contemporary bistro style dining, both in vibe & menu. Excellent food with perfect service. It is the perfect place to have a good lunch with a friend and just relax. The servers are attentive but they never rush you. I highly recommend!

I randomly picked this restaurant for brunch. We traveled to California for my daughter’s 1st birthday and wanted to reserve somewhere nice to eat. I am absolutely blown away by how amazing our experience was. The hostess is the kindest, warmest host I have ever encountered. She literally reminded me of a Disney Princess. She seated us immediately. The area reserved for us and our baby was perfect. Our server was kind, and helpful. I noticed the restaurant asks their guests if they like their reserved table. That’s truly refreshing and thoughtful! The food is OUTSTANDING! Everything we ordered was perfect and delicious. I have already told my California friends they must come here. What a fabulous, yet very cozy experience. I will come back next time we visit the area!

This is a neighborhood gem. It has both inside and outdoor dining, terrific service and the food is really good. They just expanded to have a back area, and they told me they are expanding even more. Easy parking on Montana Avenue and neighborhood streets.

Our server was very friendly and efficient. Four of us each had a different entree, and enjoyed all. Lovely desserts, the crêpes were excellent.
