The Common is a gastro-lounge where typical pub and comfort foods are elevated to uncommon heights. Our scratch kitchen offers seasonal menus with an emphasis on creativity and quality. Our dynamic culinary scene spotlights new trends, modern takes on refined classics, chef's choice features and pop up events.

We offer a fine selection of craft, small batch, local and imported beers as well as an innovative mix of herbal, vintage and modern cocktails, spirits and wines.

Set in a lounge style space with a vintage meets modern décor; our aim is to create a community based upon experiencing new food, music and culture in Edmonton. The multifaceted venue features an eclectic mix of electronic, indie, funk, hip hop, soul, classics and live music from local and worldwide artists.

Perfect for lunch, dinner, corporate functions (private bookings available), an after work drink, or a late night out- the Common is the place to come together.

    We stopped in before a hockey game. We had some cocktails and burgers. The burgers were excellent, and the fries were delicious. Would definitely return.

    Very nice place to listen to live music (most of the times really good), with a very good menu and nice ambient. A little bit noisy to me, but when the music is good, is really, really nice to enjoy good food while listening good jazz.

    We had the burger and a beer special and thought the burger was the best we have ever had and the homeade fries were delicious. Highly recommend.

    Really tasty and creative meal. Loved the zucchini guacamole! And a great collection of Alberta craft beers. The porter was like a beer coffee.

    We drive by all the time and went in for a date night. The food was so good and service and recommendations incredible. Thanks Micjey for great service. We will be back!

    Not a big fan of the new table set up for the jam. The horizontal table is harder for people to turn and see band and it feels like people behind you are breathing down your back. I do like the open space in right by the bar for people to stand.

    Great service and food. Also a great place to hang out with a fun environment that also isn't too loud so you can easily talk.
