Took 25 minutes to get drinks. Nice atmosphere. Vodka instead of gin in martini, mistake. They did replace the erroneous beverage. Food was excellent.

Staff was nice. Beautiful restaurant but the food is just okay, and it’s all over-priced for what it is. Nothing to get too excited about here. Too many other & better restaurants in town so no need to come back here again.

Saw the negative reviews but our experience was great with attentive and gracious service. I can see how the menu might not be for everyone (if you're not into fine dining at home, then the food here is going to be beyond standard tourist taste), but for us the caviar service, cod, and swordfish were right on the mark. I'm sure that 2 bottles of Champagne helped, too. Billecart 1818 is a personal favorite. The chef is ambitious and it was easily the most interesting meal we had in about a week in Palm Springs. The seafood "parfait" was unusual but beautifully served and was well textured. Across multiple seafood items the quality of fish was excellent. I would like to see a little more refinement on the menu if I'm going to be critical of anything. A lighter dessert would be welcome (although the Basque cheesecake was great). There's probably room for a little more variety in the first section of the menu - filling in a gap or two. But I wouldn't let this stop me from going back. Ambiance is stellar - ultra romantic poolside dining in a beautiful boutique space with creative food on clear night in Palm Springs is about as elegant as it gets on vacation. Feels glamorous. If you're a foodie visiting PS, we would strongly recommend it. I now realize that I've had his food before at La Folie, which I loved.

Wonderful atmosphere. Staff is friendly and accommodating. This would be an equally great choice for a dinner with friends or a romantic evening. Menu is limited to 5-6 options per course, but the food was very good. This is definitely one of our favorite spots that we recommend to people and that we return to.

This was our third or fourth visit to this restaurant and left very disappointed. Our server was very pleasant but the service for delivering food was poor. It took over 1.5 hours to get the entree after ordering. The prices were very high for the quality of service and the food itself. A bill for 2 with a split appetizer, split salad and 2 entrees was over $300. I would not return based on this experience.

Early dinner (6:00) not sure if it was due to the fact a fashion photo shoot was going on around the pool ( very well mannered and not obtrusive) but it seemed our party of 3 was crammed side by side with a 2 top and party of 4. There was space elsewhere but that didn’t seem to matter. We were all on each other’s laps. The wait staff was very courteous but didn’t quite seem at the level you would expect from a legacy place with a pricey menu. The food was very good for my fellow diners, mine ( saffron risotto) was overpowered by sun dried tomatoes and a foam of sorts that was equally overpowered by the heavy handed ingredient. The place could use some of those marvelous table lamps that every other good restaurant has. There we were with phones out, lights on just to see the bill. They used to have table lights, now a dim candle is all you get… This was our third and last try at this once wonderful place.

The colony club was just amazing, awesome avocado toast and salads. Amazing cocktail. Ask for Elizabeth. She is just outstanding and kind and lovely.

I feel the colony club hotel has lost its mojo a bit. On a slow day, the service was a bit off, bothered. Still, the food (a burger, some baked skillet eggs, and a Cobb salad) were very good. Cocktails were also good, as is the rose selection. The setting is sumptuous. A bit pricy, but for the special setting, OK. (As an aside, I much preferred the former interiors of Martyn Lawrence Bullard, which were sexy and sophisticated. They missed the mark on that one).

The restaurant is extremely overpriced. Couldn't eat outside because of the weather so they crammed as many tables as possible inside.. therefore, very noisy.. and WAY TO CLOSE. Not their fault about the weather, but they really need to take a good look at their menu prices.. the food was OK, but didn't warrant the prices . Many better restaurants in Palm Springs.

Service was bobby basic and could definitely do with improving. Food was fine but overpriced. Wine also fine but wasn’t exactly free flowing, we were only asked once during our time there if we wanted a drink. Overall this was a forgettable dining experience but has the potential to be a far better one . . . although reading other reviews, I’m not sure the restaurant are too bothered about making improvements when reservations seem to be a guarantee at this location. Shame as the hotel was lovely and the setting was impressive.

I'm obsessed with the Colony Club. I'm just looking for another reason to be in Palm Springs and this restaurant and experience will be my first stop. Honestly I felt like I was in a movie or transported back in time. And the service! Everyone was so fun and lovely.

Unfortunately I won’t return. While the staff was pleasant, they lack experience from the server to the manager. The food is expensive and the dinner for four guests was a mixed bag. The evening was chilly, and while our table was indoors, it was located next to the exterior doors where breeze funneled through. The kicker here is the almost 22% gratuity for a disappointing experience. Management needs to take a close look at how things are done and adequately train staff.

Make no mistake, Colony Club is not inexpensive. I've had inconsistent experiences there, with a lunch a couple months ago being a disaster. After that lunch, I spoke with Sam, the manager, who assured me they would take care of us well the "next time." Last night I arrived with friends visiting from Europe and the team did not disappoint. Superb dinner, great service and lovely evening. Thank you, Jessica, Sam and Colony Club. Fantastic evening.

Very nice but a little dark, couldn’t really seeing what our food looked like , and trying to eat it, maybe it was just where we were sitting, but otherwise excellent!

We were seated at the last possible moment, 15 minutes prior to closing, and the place was emptying out. Despite this we got fantastic service and did not feel rushed. The food was top notch and the setting charming. Would definitely go back.

Disappointing meal, I’m a local and have been recommended I go here for months. Upon arrival (5 mins late to our reservation) we were forced to wait for 8 minutes in front of front reception where it’s incredibly tight and there is no seating while they prepared a table. Once seated, our server forgot 1/2 appetizers we ordered. We asked that she returned within 5 minutes so we could order a bottle of wine, she disappeared for 45, steak took well over an hour to come out. Steak was ordered medium well and came out looking like it had emerged from the depths of a volcano. The steak was so rock hard I couldn’t cut through it. Disappointed in the experience in every imaginable way. I’d recommend the Pink Cabana in Indian Wells for similar ambiance with better food and service.

Fantastic and great setting, food was not to average. We got brunch in the egg whites scramble was ridiculously large and unfavorable. Poached eggs were vinegary. Best item was the eggs and tomato stew. Need to improve drip coffee as well, mimosas came out warm.

Food and ambiance was excellent. But service was subpar. Felt like the server was rushing us. They messed up on one of our meals. I get that things happen and we were not necessarily mad about the error. But was disappointed on how the staff handled it. This is the Colony Club. Not Applebees.

All staff were great! Been here many times. Food great but pricey. I am fully aware prices have increased. We go out 3-4 times a week. But these prices were very high plus entrees we ordered were solely the entree. No sides. Changed since last time we were here. No one at valet too. For these prices, let’s have a vegetable or even some rice!

This was one of the PS restaurants reportedly recommended by Michelin. Our experience on a Monday evening was NOT Michelin worthy. Table service was awkward and unpolished, bar service was very slow. It may have been a training night for new staff as there were more staff on the floor than diners at our early reservation yet everything took a long time. The food was all presented nicely but the flavors did not match the presentations. The deviled eggs were oddly flavored, the rosemary and olive focaccia reminded me of Irish soda bread and barely tasted of either mentioned ingredient. The Baby Gem salad was to have been dressed with Green Goddess dressing- it seemed to barely have oil and vinegar and needed salt- the risotto and the ravioli were both undercooked- I’ve never had homemade pasta with that much density (makes me question if it was actually homemade). Entrees were served before wine order was taken and we had to wait awhile before all the wines were served (apparently certain wine bottles had to be open). The setting is the only thing Michelin about this restaurant- and overall the restaurant does not warrant a visit, especially for the exorbitant prices (a vegan meatloaf entree >$40).

Excellent experience last night. Cheerful yet professional greeting. Perfect out door seating next to pool, heater above for comfort, rechargeable table lamps for actually reading the menu and seeing the food. Attentive waitress, and throughout meal multiple check in's for water topping and other requests. Crispy Truffle fries cooked perfectly. Deliver eggs just the right garnish. Risotto ringed in foam: gimmicky but creative and very delicious. Butterscotch pudding decadent. All flavors very well balanced. All guests left dinner happy and looking forward to returning.
