While the food was presented nicely and tasted good, I experienced a long night of gastrointestinal distress after ordering the tuna at Collective Offshore. The setting and the decor were lovely, but the service was marginal at best.

Scampi lacked a real taste of garlic. Broccolini came to table cold. I made it known before I started eating the rest of my meal, but did not a replacement until I literally had two bites left of my meal. Even then some stems were cold and certainly not steamed enough. No apologies or offers to make things right. At these prices food should be cooked properly and tasty. The lake was beautiful. I miss Clyde’s which was previously at this location.

I have been to Offshore for lunch several times and it is always a real treat. The food is very good (especially recent crab cakes), service is friendly and efficient and the entire dining area is welcoming and bright. I definitely recommend Offshore.

Scallops and oysters were excellent. No worries about gluten allergy.

Served raw lobster and instead of taking whole dish he just took lobster. It was then returned within 2 minutes and very tough. Like they had just microwaved it. The rest of the food was lukewarm when served. Then paid $6 for rolls and they had been microwaved and hard as a rock. Took the $6 off for the bread but offered nothing for serving raw seafood. For the price of entrees portions were really small. Had scallops and only had 4 scallops over a smear of grits for $39. Nice view and decor of restaurant was coastal but probably won’t be back.

We had reservations at 615pm on Mothers Day. On Thursday prior to Sunday's reservation I received a call for the restaurant to confirm our seating. Upon arrival the hostess advised us that they were running late. After 15 minutes we were given the choice to sit in the bar area, as opposed to the main dining seating. If we opted for the main dining we would have to wait longer for a seat. We chose the bar area, as we were hungry and didn't want to wait. My husband had previewed the menu before we made reservations, and he was looking forward to the Lamb Chops. After we placed our order the waitress came back to inform us that they were out of Lamb Chops, and he needed to make another choice. He had the seafood linguine and I had the lobster roll with fries. The lobster on the linguine still had its shell and I had soggy cold fries. To be fare, the waitress check on us and she went back to the kitchen for hot crisp fries, which were delicious. My husband made recommendations regarding removal of shell on lobster and provide parmesan cheese. The staff was amiable and open to suggestions.
