Welcome to the Chateau Restaurant of Norwood, located on Route One across from the “Auto-Mile”. Since 1933, The Nocera Family has been serving great food, with great service at reasonable prices that keep our customers coming back for more.

Offering classic Italian dishes such as Toasted Ravioli, Chicken Parmigiana and Thin-crust Pizza, as well as Fresh Seafood and Sautee Dishes. Weekly Specials are always on the menu.

Chateau Norwood has many newly renovated dining rooms to provide a warm atmosphere and accommodate any reservation. Large parties are our specialty! Enjoy our separate Dining Lounge that features a comfortable bar, lots of dining tables, extensive wine list and featured drink specials. A perfect place to watch the game on one of the many HDTV’s and play Keno.

We were a group of 7. Everyone was happy with their dishes, including me. Baffled that the chicken Francase was a much bigger portion than the chicken parm I had recently, but that’s okay. The reason for the review is that our server was fabulous. A child and toddler were well seen to, and that’s everything!

One of the very few places east of St Louis that has toasted ravioli--and very generous portions. The menu has a very good selection. My guests were very pleased with everything. Keep up the good work.

My partner and I went there for my birthday my meal was delicious his meal was not hot enough he said when you order fra diavolo must have lots of peppers he had the same meal last year that meal let him remember what it was like when he was in Italy

I was catching up with a friend. The waitress was so kind and did not rush us. It was Sunday at noon and very quiet. The food was very good and very pleased with our waitress.

I am somewhat disappointed in both the Chateau and open table reservations. My issue is with the fact that I requested 5 chairs and a high chair on Open Table in the special requests section. The Chateau didn't have that information and I didn't know why. I made thid reservation 3 days in advance. So when we got there, they tried to give us a bench and 3 chairs which is not what we needed or requested. We needed All chairs due to health issues The Chateau's solution was to give us another table that someone else had reserved that we could use for only 90 minutes. Based on this we felt rushed and ended up not getting the level of service and satisfaction that we expected from the Chateau. I have been very pleased with the Chateau in the past. But not this time. I do believe that there is a flaw with the Open Table System. They don't seem to send the request info to the restaurant. Please correct me if I am wrong. In closing, what should haven been an excellent time started off poorly and influenced the rest of our lunch.

My first time in the Norwood restaurant was a bit disappointing. I’ve been many times in Waltham and enjoyed. A meatball sandwich and small salad were ok, but I miss the roll the meatballs used to be served on. Two huge slices of Italian bread surrounded the meat and reduced to Wonder Bread consistency as I held it. It needed much more sauce, which the server brought promptly. Since the bread wouldn’t have held much sauce, it was like au jus roast beef sandwich. Salads were passable. All in all the service was ok (despite the fact that a request for more coffee was approved but never delivered). The food was edible. But I wouldn’t recommend the Norwood Chateau unless folks need halfway meeting place for friends who live a distance apart.

My wife and I came to The Chateau with a friend of our to get a nice meal before heading to Norwood Theater to see a show. Both food and service was great!

Chicken Parmesan was good-especially the tomato sauce. Generous portion My husband’s baked stuffed shrimp was tasteless and bland. The squash was very sweet. The broccoli was excellent. The restaurant was very busy but. Not loud. Service was attentive. I’ll come back for the sauce and send my husband to a seafood restaurant for shrimp.

Wasn’t busy but service was slow. Our server had ZERO personality and never asked if we wanted more drinks. Ordered more and they never came. Food was OK. This place is overrated!

Lasagna with meat sauce was delicious. Children’s menu is a great deal. For $9.95 my grandson had a big plate of spaghetti with a meatball, apple juice and chocolate pudding topped with Oreo pieces and gummy worms.

The food and service last night were superb. Our waitress Lilly was so attentive and answered all of our questions. Out of all the Chateau’s we have been to this one is our favorite.

I expect my cooked food to come to the table to be hot! Every bite of food on my plate was barely warm! Really like my food hot. The soup served was spilled all over the plate which had the crackers drenched in it! I am disappointed and wonder if I should go back. I had brought with me 3 friends-guests who had never been to the ‘Chateau’and I didn’t feel good about the lukewarm dinners served! Help me to convince me that you can do better in the future. Everything was great. Server was very attentive. Order was perfect. My salmon was cooked just the watch like it.

Our server was very friendly, however, we had to keep asking for things that should have been placed on the table. My clam chowder was luke warm and my son's salmon was kind of raw and chilled in the center.

We have been praised in the past for our excellent service staff, so we are sorry that your experience didn't reflect that standard. We take food temperature and safety seriously and find medium rare to be the perfect temp for salmon. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and got a bowl of plain pasta. Then I realized there was no Fettuccine sauce on it. It wasn’t a good night and I’m apprehensive about going back there.
