The Charmant Restaurant serves rustic french–inspired cuisine in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Utilizing the best of the season’s offerings, the dishes emerging from the open kitchen are fresh, simple, and down-to-earth. The Restaurant is open seven days a week for brunch, and dinner Monday through Saturday. The Private Dining Room inside The Restaurant seats 14 for tasteful gatherings. Take in the spectacular view of downtown La Crosse on the seasonal Rooftop Terrace (open May-September), and enjoy hand crafted beverages in the Lobby Lounge seven days a week.

The Charmant is a beautiful space with lovely service. I stayed there 1 night before a work meeting. I had a gift certificate and decided to have dinner with my husband. The service was stellar. Kind and attentive people ensuring that our glasses were always full. We each ordered the filet mignon. When our food was delivered I questioned if the cut of meat was a filet mignon or a rib eye. I decided to ignore my initial observation and take a bite. There was no flavor. My husband agreed and we did something we never do at a fine dining restaurant, we asked for salt and pepper. We ate as much as we could and discussed how grateful we were that we were paying with a gift certificate. I will not be going back to The Charmant. Great place to stay and not a great place to pay for an expensive dinner.

Everything was top notch. Dinner food was superb. It was raining in the morning, so we decide to go back for breakfast. My wife had the tiramisu stuffed french toast. It has moved to the all time best breakfast we have had on our travels.

Very busy and slower than normal. Fries were lukewarm warm.

Nice place for a fancy meal. Service and attention to detail wasn’t really what we expected for a restaurant aiming to portray that caliber of experience. Would return for a drink and apps at the bar. All our courses arrived at the same time and really threw/rushed us for no reason. We did get a nice anniversary card and the food was good.

Foods are a little bit overpriced. Definitely not worth the value. Fries are good. Salmon is fine. Scallops are great. Accoutrements are not so good. They taste weird. Love the vibes though because the place is so cozy. Unfortunately it is 3 out of 10 for me.

Fantastic ribeye, very tasty and cooked to perfection. My wife's salmon was also very good. The bruschetta app was very fresh and tasty also.
