Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. So happy to have this in Southlake - service was a tad slow but it was excellent quality service. Price is always high but it’s Capital Grill and the food quality is worth the price point. Decorated really nicely and we really loved that it was not loud. So many nice restaurants in our area have really bad acoustics making it difficult to have conversations. We will definitely be back.

The staff is pretty green compared to the other capital grilles around DFW. Not to the level we would expect from a restaurant like this. Food was excellent. Wait staff needs to catch up to the kitchen to make it a better experience.

We had an excellent night out! The food and service were terrific. We are so happy to have a new restaurant in our rotation in Southlake!

Only open a week They have a few kinks to work out- we will try it again in a month or so

The new restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. Our server was a little underperforming and needed more training. I think the glass wall between the main dining area and the working kitchen is a distraction and hurting the tranquil ambience of the main room. You could hear the sous chefs yelling back and forth. Now, I realize that is just a known fact that comes in a vibrant working chef’s kitchen but it really doesn’t pair well with fine dining. Flemings tried it and they eventually had to alter the glass.

We have been anxious for The Capital Grill to open in Southlake. Having been to several all over the country, CG is a welcomed addition to the local area. I put the local competition as Trulucks and Perry's. Being honest, we were just a bit disappointed. I think Perry's is a better option. Not sure CG made the grade to earn a spot on our regular rotation. Excellent service, good food, good drinks, perhaps still getting things dialed in, we will go back and try again. One annoyance, neither Trulucks or Perry's charges for Valet. I'm a big tipper so didn't matter but you'll pay $10 to valet. If I'm spending $400 on a dinner for 3, I find it an annoyance to pay to park.

As always the food was excellent in quantity and quality. Recognizing it was the first day of being open, the service was very slow, especially getting something from the bar. Assume they will bring service up to the caliber of the others Capital Grille restaurants that I have frequented. While looking for a somewhat quiet dinner we were unfortunately tabled next to a table of six that was very boisterous and drunk somewhat affecting the ambiance of the restaurant.
