Wonderful greeting fro the hostess to the end of dinner. My only critique - SIde dishes arrived shortly after main course. But the waiter was aware and communicated. I look forward to returning!

I took a friend here from out of town before a show. The service was outstanding. We enjoyed the sticky ribs (who would have thought that microgreens could elevate ribs?) and the smoked pork and cheddar sausage. We did try a sausage that wasn't on the menu that had brisket and Minnesota Wagyu that was too soft to the palate and we thought should have been mixed up more in the casing. The cheesecake presentation was awful, who would put freeze dried strawberries on a cheesecake? Take off the freeze dried berries and replace with fresh and you have yourself an amazing dessert!

We had an excellent experience at The Butcher’s Tale. The food was incredible, our server was knowledgeable and attentive, and the atmosphere was classy and elegant. We highly recommend this restaurant and are excited to return!

Service was fantastic, food was delicious, ambience was vibrant but a little loud. Other tables didn't seem so close but we were in the bar area and were a little tight with other guests. Overall, our experience was great and despite the noise, we will return!

Consistently the best food you can get in the Twin Cities! Pork Rib Chop that eats like a savory chocolate layer cake. Long bone rib is prone to cause a knife fight as the boys fight over the last crumbles of meat and glaze. Fried green tomatoes and PB jalapeño!!!

The food and ambiance was great. I was not disappointed by those aspects. My main issue was two things. My wife and I don't drink, and after we politely declined, the waitress became extremely pushy on the rest of the menu, trying to upsell us on our main courses along with ordering extra sides (we had already ordered 2), salads, and deserts. It seemed like we were a waste of her time because we weren't ordering alcoholic beverages. We had spent around $285 for the evening, so it wasn't like we were only ordering the cheapest options. The other was a first for me, which I felt should have been disclosed prior to the bill coming, which was that there was a 5% surcharge on the entire bill. I have not seen this before and was confused as to why there was a surcharge.

We celebrated my son’s birthday. Everything was the best. The charcuterie tray was delicious! We loved every item. The steaks were so tender and cooked perfectly. The hot Brussel sprouts were amazing. Cocktails were made with an expert hand. Music was soft and inviting and our waitstaff wonderful. Awesome experience!!

When I made the reservation, I requested a booth in the bar area. This was a special night for our group and we wanted the ambiance of the venue. We were basically sat in the door way of the restaurant at a half booth/half table. The tables were very close together, there was no privacy and there was a constant presence of wind and the hosts seating people. Our party of 3 spent just under $1000 after the tip. The experience was a disappointment. We won’t be returning.

My wife and I had a great date night here! The waitress was exceptional. Attentive, relaxed and fun to engage with. Overall the food was excellent! The only thing I wished I didn't order was the Texas Toast. Not very flavorful and a bit of a disappointment. The tenderloin was excellent. The salmon was excellent and the truffle fries were excellent. Thanks for a great night!
