The Broken Coconut Tiki Pop-up Bar is taking over Rules & Regs! Escape to a tropical oasis overlooking downtown Austin with an island-inspired menu including nods to the iconic Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar at Fairmont San Francisco. Get ready to get cheeky at the tiki this summer starting May 18 - mid August.

The food and cocktails were mediocre at best. The atmosphere could have been better and the music wasn’t on theme. This pop up bar seem like it wasn’t carefully planned out. It seems like a shame because it had lots of potential. The service was amazing. We had a great bartender that was very knowledgeable of the cocktails and gave us great recommendations.

Our waitress Janelle was great! The sliders and wings were the best. Tiki was fun and should continue doing it as a pop up

We are on our own Austin Tiki cocktail tour. We saw this pop up bar concept online and we were glad we did. Ambiance was wonderful. Rooftop bars are always nice especially when the weather is permitting. We didn’t get a lei upon on our arrival reservation but that’s alright. Service was superb and on point.

We were super excited for the pop-up tiki bar, having very much enjoyed the Christmas pop-up, but both the drinks and vibe were misses for us. The decor included grass cloth drapery, and that was about it, and the drinks ranged from ok to bad; we sent two back and exchanged them for the $32 pina colada…not sure why it was that expensive. Our server was friendly, but was MIA at times. I’d say skip for this year and go to Tiki Tatsuya.

Food was good but the Bloody Mary was too expensive for what you get! Drag Show was great! You should have Nadine Hughes as show host all the time!

Not even a restaurant, not sure why it’s on opentable if it’s for “snacks and shareables”. Waitress was awful

We got there at 8:45 and after waiting for 15 minutes for the hostess to sit us…. We waited another 15 minutes for our waiter. I went ahead and had to ask someone to serve us. After that the experience was way better but it really left a sour taste in my mouth
