With over 20 years of cooking experience, Chef Matt Garcia brings a new dining experience to Tuolumne County. Classically trained at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in San Francisco, Chef Matt has worked with some of the Bay Area's top chefs. As a young chef he was nominated as 7x7 Rising Star Chef, creating beautiful dishes that showcase the freshness of the ingredients and their bright, natural flavor and he continues to do so. The Branch is a place where we come together, not only to simply eat but to experience the joy, the emotion that his food brings about.

We believe food should create a memory, an emotion, and Chef Matt is able to capture this concept beautifully all within a laid back, fun atmosphere (no white table cloths here!)

Located under the Twain Harte arch, our casual environment allows you to enjoy yourself with a glass of wine, beer or sparkling in hand. We welcome you to The Branch and we look forward to serving you.

We sat inside where the music selection was great and the staff turned it down a notch. The course selection, both small and large was good. The wine list was nice and the prompt service was wonderful. I definitely would suggest you get on their email list and Facebook page so you don’t miss a new list with open dates for a delicious changing menu.

By far, the food is the most incredible in the tri-county area. I don’t believe a single negative reviews is valid. The location is quaint and has an in-the-home kitchen vibe. The crew is phenomenal, interactive with patrons, and full of gratitude. Stephanie does most desserts, I believe, and they are unparalleled to anything within our reach. When this hard-working crew isn’t catering, make this your weekly self-care! Enjoy.

Very limited menu .. was given a dinner menu and after deciding what to order, the server came and told us the menu is not available and presented us with a tapas menu … Parole soup was good out of everything we ordered … Place is very small and outdated …

Great tacos, on the larger side. Also had ahi tostada which was yummy. Fine wine and beer selection. Both desserts were tasty, strawberry shortcake and if I recall, a bread pudding.

What a treat! I have been trying to go to The Branch since the opening and finally got in. Everything was absolutely perfect. It was a very intimate and interactive experience with the most delicious food I have had in a long time (and we live in the Bay Area). Thank you for such a wonderful night. We can't wait to come back.

Great family environment, but with elevated food. Service was excellent and the chef even came out to make sure we were enjoying everything. This is definitely a new favorite.

A gem in our town of Twain Harte offering excellent upscale food. We have been a few times, and it never disappoints! We love Chef Matt's creativity and blend of flavors. The team working there is fabulous, and dining there is always an experience.

As usual Chef Garcia created food elegance. Each in our party was satisfied with a special course of their choice, including our vegetarian. The desserts were amazing and hard to judge the best. A great time was had by all.
