Celebration for Tulane graduation. The staff accommodated a change to the reservation time because of weather delay. The food was fantastic- all of it! Desserts beyond expectation. We willl be back- maybe tomorrow!!

I went for their special Tequila Dinner on May 8 and I was blown away by every bite, smell, sip, interaction. Every time I leave The Bower I'm already planning my next excuse to come back

The food and vibe at The Bower always makes me happy. This Conchiglie with Louisiana crawfish was so good it made me smile. Kinda like how the sun does on a nice Spring day.

Beautiful establishment! The wait staff is very nice. The food was average. Initially it came out cold so they took it back and reheated it for us. I believe they just put the plates in the oven. The food was a little warmer but still not hot. We decided to just stick with it. My ratings for the items we had Beet salad - 10 Cacio de Pepe - 2 Chicken parm - 7 Beef short rib pasta - 5 Bolognese pasta - 9

Really lovely spot, but super noisy as it got crowded. Service was nice, but the server was good but was clearly struggling with a heavy load of customers. We ordered a collection of small plates which were beautifully presented and very good overall.

The ambience of the outdoor patio was great and our service was very good. The food was a little bit disappointing compared to our expectations. Our starters were excellent, but our pasta dishes could have been better. Mine even came out slightly cold.

excellent cocktails! Large plates were very good and plenty to eat. We especially liked the small plate spicy scallops arancini - could have eaten a dozen! Would have liked a larger menu.

I had a good experience overall but was annoyed that the table was not cleared between courses. I was clearly finished with my starter and the server left the plate when the main was delivered.

First time here, my friend and I tried the chef’s tasting menu and wine pairing and were not disappointed. Each course was amazing and delicious…scallops arrancini , beet salad , gulf fish and a decadent chocolate dessert and the wines were a perfect complement. Portions were generous and arrived well timed. I also found the price for both well worth it. The ambiance was wonderful as the restaurant lends itself to a great dining experience and service was professional and on point. Looking forward to dining again in the future. What a wonderful experience it was. Thanks!

Both meals were delicious although a bit spicy for our taste, but this is New Orleans. Generous portions, expensive but worth the price for unique selections. We opted to be seated outside & it was quite loud with happy hour after work groups.

The food was good. Had four small plates-oysters, shrimp, potatoes and beet and heirloom carrot salad. However service was goofy (technical term😎). First server was replaced in middle of meal after we were brought wrong dish. Then we were brought another dish we didn’t order. Then toward the end of the meal we were offered bread.

The food tasted delicious! I thought The Sunday was especially tasty while the Bolognese and Veal were fantastic as well. Highly recommended and we'll be back next time we're in NOLA!

Bartender was so handsome! My daughters were giddy- Loved our waitress Brianna!!!! She was not put off by our craziness. Wish there had been an entree that was not dairy.

The bolognese was the best meal I’ve had in a very long time. The sparkling rose was superb. I couldn’t believe I had this meal one mile from my home.

We had the most glorious meal at the Bubbles and Lobster event. The food was innovative, fresh, and simply delicious. The wine/champagne pairings were amazing! We cannot wait to come back!

Every dining experience that I have at The Bower is sensational! Courses are always spaced out perfectly, there is more than enough food to share, and the ingredients are amongst some of the best in the city. The service was spectacular as were the craft cocktails that are all seasonally rotated through. Always a lovely dining experience, will be back very soon!

I think The Bower is a lovely and respectable restaurant. I don't think they currently have enough wait staff to serve the size of their establishment. It took a very long time from ordering to getting the food, to finding the waiter, to getting the bill. The staff seemed harried and constantly behind. The food was fine. It was mid blowingly delicious. It was way better average. Friends from out of town will feel like they are in a nice restaurant with good food. But it wasn't great food. It was fine. Too much breading on the oysters. Beet salad was very good. The chicken in the "Sunday Stew" was overcooked. The sausage in the "Sunday Stew" was very good. The pasta that was served with the "Sunday Stew" was overcooked and cold by the time it came out to the table. I didn't like the flourless chocolate/peanut butter tort. The whipped cream in the Strawberry Shortcake was delicious. The biscuit/scone in the "Strawberry Shortcake" was hard. Overall, it was fine. I'm sure I'll go back. Most of the waitstaff was very nice and hospitable. One of the hosts seemed a bit mean and authoritarian. It was fine.

We visited the restaurant as a party of 5, including two seniors and a toddler. The food was really good, and while the service was slow, our server was very nice. However, we had a disappointing experience with the seating arrangements. We had made a reservation for standard seating, but the hostess tried to seat us outside. When we pointed out that our reservation was for indoor seating, she falsely claimed that the outside seating was standard. After that, we spoke to a server who confirmed that this was not standard seating and managed to secure an indoor table for us, which was what we originally reserved. The hostess's behavior was absolutely unacceptable and she should be ashamed of her actions.

This dinner made our experience in New Orleans. From the minute we walked in we knew this was going to be incredible. The host listen to our request and sat us at a nice table inside/outside (he checked in with us to make sure it was ok). Melissa took amazing care of us! She gave great recommendations and was very attentive. Overall she made us feel welcome and excited to be there. The food was everything and more. The portions sizes were generous and the food outstanding. There was not a thing we ordered that we did not like. We had a friend who was vegetarian and there we great options for her too. Overall just wonderful. Thank you Melissa for taking such great care of us making my bachelor dinner special. We left happy, full, and excited to return. Cannot recommend this place more, especially for larger parties (9 of us total).

Unbelievable meal & experience. Loved the beet salad, chicken parm and Cacio e Pepe. Desert was an amazing strawberry shortcake with a homemade biscuit. Absolutely loved our meal, can’t wait to come back!
