Great pub, we take 93 yr old there often as it's easy to get her in and she loves the entree satay chicken. Yesterday being Mothers Day it was busy & loud but food was great & service prompt. Will continue to frequent this pub.

Dining room chairs in the smaller room at the front of the pub is best, particularly if you don't want the noise of the TV in the bar area. The steak was magnificent, but it was the salt and pepper calamari that stole the show, delicious restaurant quality meal. Bar staff were quick and friendly making the whole night enjoyable, definitely coming back.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner outdoors at The Border Inn Hotel. I had the Calamari Salad, which I highly recommend and my husband had a Chicken Parmigiana, which he enjoyed also. All in all we had a lovely night.

We are in the bistro section out the back but as it was a very hot night people were having fun and drinks out front. We had reserved a table and it did get busy so glad. Firstly the service from the girls was absolutely fantastic. They were friendly , positive, helpful and all with huge smiles. Makes such a difference. The food was delicious and fresh. My husbands pork I wanted to steal 🤣. Thanks 🙏

Had special fish and it was not cooked and on a soup base which didn’t match at all told the waitress to take it back and nothing was done about it so we left

Attended for breakfast buffet with 2 adults and 3 children. Food was great, plenty of it and fresh. No form of drinks are included in the buffet, which was disappointing compared to other breakfast buffets I have attended. $5.50 each for a glass of juice for the children is a bit excessive

It’s always a nice meal with fresh ingredients and imaginative food. The Dahl dish lacked some pizazz but good nonetheless. The fish was very good.

I would give my porterhouse 5/5 stars as tender and delicious, and my boyfriend's T-bone was very good although not quite as good a cut. Great service

Friendly service. When we went to order 2 of the meals on the menu weren’t available. Maybe let customers know when you give them the menu what meals are unavailable. Meals good but a little overpriced for the size. Apart from that, all good.

We booked online for 5 people indoor, when arrived at 5.45pm we were seated in the back room next to a huge tv with the footy on, I asked if we could sit in the main dining area they said it was full, but when looking around there were heaps of free tables, so atmosphere was bad. The fish and chips were the worst I’ve ever had, $29 and I had to ask the waitress if this was a kids meal, there were barely any chips, they were limp, fish was dry and small, some lettuce mix which was limp with a bit of dressing, not a tomato or cucumber in sight. The pork belly salad was ok, pork ribs for $40 were smothered in very strong bbq sauce very sloppy. I’ve eaten at this pub before usually it’s good, but this meal was Very disappointing

The garlic needed extra butter, maybe it could come in a small dish. The mash potato didn't have any flavour. The pasta didn't have the crispy pancetta The desserts where barely eatable

Pub was packed with long weekend visitors. Behaviour of 2was disgusting in pokie room, aggressive with each other and male wanted to "get out of F dump". There was no security like last owners would have. Locals disappointed.

The change to the menu was extremely disappointing! Especially the gourmet sauces have gone missing. I missed the table service that was always efficient and friendly. The table that where we were seated for 8 people at a 6.00 pm booking was extremely noisy, but did notice other tables remained empty during our seating which was the area I would have thought was the dining area closest to the outdoor dining. We ended up leaving early due the noise as I think where we were seated was in an area of the overflow from the bar. The food was served in a timely manner. The food itself was good pub fair but nothing spectacular the “inferno” sauce would have been a welcome addition to my meal, sadly, that and various other missing items, made what we were all looking forward to, just an ordinary meal. Prices were, for what we were served I would say on the high side.
