We expected a lot more when we made the reservation. The place seemed run down and the first turn off was the bartender coughing into his bar cloth. Then when the food came the naan-Chos were just one piece of naan sliced with a bit of sauce and a brown half an avocado on top. The garlic fries were just shoestring fries with 3 odd sauces. We paid way more than this meal was worth. This was our most disappointing meal of our trip.

We went during Happy Hour and the service, drinks and food did not disappoint! A must when you are in NOLA. Close to Bourbon st without the Bourbon st fair and noise.

We loved the Street Tacos and the fabulous live music. Adding to our experience were Dom and Lala, members of the staff. They were awesome!

We came in got happy hour. The food and drinks during happy hour were amazing. We also ordered off of the regular menu. Everything was great. We had excellent service. The restaurant was just opened and could have been cleaned better. Looked like remnants of garbage on the floor from the night before. Otherwise excellent and we would go back.

The waitress wasn’t friendly and she didn’t know her menue. I came here In 2018 I had a different experience. The staff were friendlier and the drinks were better

Good was ok..but not for the price you pay! They didn’t have 2 of the desserts we tried to order. Service was good little slow at times but friendly.

Absolutely wonderful experience! One of the best Happy Hours we have experienced during our travels, we ordered pretty much one of everything on the menu and it was all phenomenal! Cocktails were all delicious (blackout bramble and roffignac were especially great) and the service was amazing! The croquettes and dirty martini Caesar were especially good, would definitely go back!

Service was great and our waitress was phenomenal, but we were very underwhelmed with the food. The happy hour small plates were terrible, and the Brussel sprout appetizer was mediocre. The best item we had was the burger, which was just ok.

The restaurant doesn’t look anything like the pictures. It is basically a pub with bad food. The curried cauliflower was essentially boiled and jaundiced but without any curry flavor whatsoever. The drinks were also awful. My Prosecco was terribly sweet and my husband’s gin and tonic had very little gin and was basically overpowered by cleaning solution-infused soda fountain tonic. We are baffled that this place had any positive reviews. However, staff were very kind under the circumstances. I feel bad that they have to be on the front line. They even offered to refund the curry cauliflower but we politely declined and took our leave before ordering anything else.

We had reservations at 530 but asked to sit at the bar and watch cocktails being made. She had a house chardonnay which good and ordered a Whistlepig Rye Manhatttan on the rocks. The young bartender asked me what that was and did I see the bottle. This was not the bar we had sat at several years ago and had a class on mixed drink and bourbons. Nevertheless he made it correctly and I had another on the rocks. We moved to a booth and the chef recommended the Pork belly and grits. We ordered this with the Ceasar salad with a gin based dressing. Both were fresh and tasty. The place is comforting and you can relax. Live music of local talent starts at 8. We will come again as this is a true neighborhood lounge in the Quarter. I hope the staff gains valued experience.

Drinks were good, food was great besides our steak which was the wrong temp and had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. They do not have steak sauce which I thought was extremely odd. They also don’t have tea. Wait staff including our server were very nice and helpful. I found the photos online were a little misleading as it looks very dingy on the inside.

Service and drink quality was very.. meh. I went alone on Valentine’s Day and said I *might* have another join, so the whole time the staff kept hinting at the other person, as if a party of one wasn’t good enough to be sat at a table that was booked ahead of time. Drinks were mostly ice for ~$18. Nice ambiance and clean, though.

I know it was Friday of Mardi Gras but it took 45 minutes to get drinks and that was after I asked the bartender if she had received our drink order. Our food arrived after a hour. When the server brought the food she told us that they were out of one of the items ordered. So that person had to wait another 30 minutes for her food. As we were leaving our table heard our server complaining about how demanding our table was. I have loved going to the Bombay Club in the past but will only go for drinks at bar if I go back.

We went for lunch as they were opened for lunch for several days leading up to Mardi Gras. While our waitress did everything she could (which is why rated service 2 stars rather than 1 star) the place was poorly staffed and it took way too long to get our food.

This was one of the only places that we could get a reservation on the Friday before Mardi Gras. We had never eaten there, and didn’t know what to expect. What a hidden gem! The burger was delicious. The only other suggestion I would have would be to step up the wine by glass selection. Other than that, it was perfect.

Really liked the food and wait staff I think they were understaffed since it took over 25 min to make a simple cocktail. We enjoyed the singer and live performance.

We were visiting from out of town. The staff here were attentive, friendly, and helpful. They really made the visit memorable. We came for happy hour and had happy hour drinks and bites. The boudin balls, cauliflower taco, and fries were all tasty.

A great time! Really nice jazz singer and pianist. Nice ambiance (Wednesday night)) Server very amiable. Food excellent, especially chili pork belly, shrimp and grits, and bread pudding.

Service was horrible , we had to clear our own table. Waitress couldn't be bothered to get u a drink, food took 2 hours and came ice cold. We decided to leave after telling them. The manager was amazing and took care of the bill and offered to make new food which looked amazing. But with the horrible waitress experience we declined . It's too bad as all reviews seemed great

My wife and I dined here previously and were delighted with the food service and entertainment. We made reservation based on the website providing misleading information in regards to dinner and entertainment. The server was rude and the food was not edible. The manager was nice enough to not charge us for the food as it was sent back. We were served pork belly and boudin balls Pork belly consisted of pure lard was not edible. Boudin balls were served raw and frozen in the middle. We decided to leave early before things got worse.

Waste of time.Waitress brought water out quickly,but it went down hill.Did not see her again for 10 minutes.By then we ordered drinks and lunch.Another 10 minutes slammed down our drinks,and ran off,without leaving the sweet and low,which she said she would bring when we ordered.The tea was very cloudy and foamy,easily could tell this tea was rancid.After waiting another five minutes,i got up and asked the hostess about the tea,she said she did not know what happened.Also i asked her if they ever cleaned the floor as shoes were sticking to it each step.Between the tea and the floor,no way did i care to eat their food.For service to be that slow with only 6 other patrons in the dining room is poor.

BOMBAY CLUB is a great place to duck in from the busy streets of the French Quarter. The Happy Hour menu is excellent and you can't beat the prices and quality of their small plates anywhere in the Quarter. My only suggestion of the choice of music played (not live). It was hard rock and although I love any type of music, I think it's terrific to think of all patrons and the kind of vibe you are trying to send across. I think of BC as a place to be able to carry on a conversation (while there are no live musicians) and relax. Our service was terrific!

The Bombay Club is the place to be for happy hour. The drink specials are amazing cocktails and so are their $5.00 prices. The small bites happy hour menu is filled with tasty dishes to add to your meal or have as your meal. Don, our waitress, was amazing. Friendly and welcoming she served our party of 9 as if we were family. This is a great place to eat if you want a short step away from the crazy of Bourbon Street for a moment.

Walking in, we were greeted by a friendly young lady. She was seating another party, but we didn't have to wait long before the manager jumped in and looked up our reservation and got us seated right away. Once seated, we were greeted by a very nice server who remained attentive throughout our dinner and drinks. Not only was our server attentive, but the manager was present in the dining room, and I noticed he was stepping in wherever he was needed. He was very kind, personable, and seemed to be well liked by the staff. It always goes a long way to see such excellent management because it truly trickles down to the staff. We have eaten at some lovely restaurants during our stay in New Orleans, but I have to say the service at the Bombay club topped them all! The food and drinks didn't disappoint either! The shrimp and grits were amazing, and the burger was perfectly prepared. You can tell the chefs take a lot of pride in the dishes they put out. From presentation to taste, everything was quite impressive! We left with full bellies and big smiles! I definitely recommend this as a must try when in New Orleans!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Bombay Club. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The food was delicious. We had the pork belly & grits, shrimp & grits, pork belly tacos, and fish tacos. The pork belly won the night - it was expertly cooked! The grits and bbq sauce were perfect. We each had a cocktails (Pimm’s Cup) and still bottled water with our meal. We split the tab according to which couple ordered what so I don’t know the total bill, but our portion (2 grit dishes) and a tip of over 20% was a reasonable bill of $120. We definitely recommend.

Food was excellent. Service was great. Ambience could’ve been better. Music selection wasn’t ideal for dining. Heavy Metal/Classic Rock doesn’t really fit the mood for a fancy dinner in a nice place like Bombay Club. Next time try some Yacht Rock.

Great drinks and food. Loved the small plates and my fish was so tasty. Server was friendly and attentive. Great way to start our evening .
